Jerry...DONT GO THERE! This place is a rip off. I started going there about 6 years ago with my 1985 Porsche 930 turbo. I thought they were doing a good job when I found out the tech working on porsches was no longer there because he was ripping people off. They got a new tech by the name of Justin, he is no better...My car has been in there 3 times for a torn alternator belt. The car never put on more than 75 miles before the belt tore. The last time it was less than 2 miles.I never got to route 128 before I had to turn around and go back. I have spent more than $7000 over the past 6 years. This last time I paid them $2500 to bring my car back 3 times. You would think after 2 belts they would check out other things that caused the belt to tear. Yes, it was a worn out alternator. SHAME ON ME FOR LETTING THEM RIP ME OFF! STAY AWAY FROM AUTO ENGINEERING.

We brought our Mini Cooper here to be repaired in the spring of 2015. There was something wrong with the brakes. They did not repair the problem after charging us a whole lot for it and we repeatedly went in and kept telling them it wasnt fixed. Then, we moved to NY State and continued to have problems. A repair shop here said that the brake (that Auto Engineering had supposedly "fixed") was completely rusted through. No wonder we kept having issues with it! (No chance of it rusting through from May - the fall of 2015.) Dont go here. From our experience, it was an expensive way for us NOT to have our car repaired.

Ive been a customer for three years. Every service has been terrific. From simple oil changes to a new radiator or alternator (the joys of a 10 year old car), Ive always felt that the work was well done and fairly priced. They may not be the cheapest (when compared to chain service centers), but the job will be done correctly. The topper was the time my wipers stopped working in a driving rainstorm on the way to school - I made my way to their shop, they fixed it on the spot (a loose bolt), refused to charge me, and we still got to school on time.

Brought my brand new BMW in for some fine tuning which was unavailable at the dealership. Found every aspect of doing business with these people to be excellent. Made an appointment which they kept and took me in on time; found the waiting area to be clean and comfortable and was able to meet my service tech (Nelson) in person who answered all of my questions. Price was on par with anywhere else I may have gone, too. Highly recommend this company for service!

Started using them late last year. Did a couple of major services, including water pump / coolant leak, and recently a scheduled maintenance. If you have one of the cars that they specialize in, then I highly recommend giving them a shot, instead of going to the dealer for service. They are Friendly, Courteous, and affordable.

Excellent experience! Will definitely continue to service my BMW here. Service is seamless, got a free loaner which was actually a really nice VW. They diagnosed my car quickly, the prices parts and labor were very reasonable too! Wish I had known about Auto Engineering years ago.

Had bad experience with this shop. Changed two front brakes and after the change, the steering wheel wobbles violently when drive on highway. They say the brake change had nothing to do with the wobbling. But can you explain why I dont have this problem before the brake change?

Very fine shop. Had my 2001 Boxster serviced there for the last two years. Fair prices (never worried that Im getting swindled), convenient location, and of course....THE CANDY!!! Would recommend the shop to all post warranty car owners.

Excellent service. Broke down mid-day on Thurs and they had me up and running by the end of the day. The service, communication and expertise were superb. By a wide margin the best auto shop I have ever visited.
