I am sorry that these people chose or were chosen to be public servants. This was my first visit to the post office and within 15 minutes they refused a person who was waiting in line (a line out the door) for a passport saying she was not there before noon, however she was, I was in line and saw her … way back in the line. I watched them berate a lady for asking for a green shipping slip because there were none available, when she asked for one the man said "they are over there, go to the back of the line". I spoke up and said “No sir there are none over here”, when he came around the counter and found there were none, I said “now maybe you can apologize to the lady for being so rude”. They refused to assist a person with a disability (Myself), to help the person write the necessary information on (to: and from: areas) the package (in other states they actually would print the label or assist in filling out the info. I had to speak up and asked “Is there anyone in this building without a disability that could assist me with writing in the required information on this package", luckily the patrons were not so RUDE as the workers. These are three examples of the things I witnessed within a 15 minute period… although I observed more in those fifteen minutes. I am sorry, but since I moved here for school, I have been treated and seen others treated so poorly by police, postal workers … etc. I think this is why people always were calling it Massachusetts (without the M). I know I am glad to know that I will be leaving this summer and won’t have to deal with this much longer… I feel sorry for the rest of the public who will continue to be mistreated by the very people chosen to serve them. Common human courtesy is a thing we may not be able to expect from Jo blow on the street but when we go into a government building, I do not believe there should be any doubt that we will at least receive this.

I called and spoke with a woman. Unfortunately I didnt get her name because she was speaking so fast. I just wanted to check if a very important package was ready for delivery so that I could pick it up in person (at the post office) since I wouldnt be home the whole day to receive it. As soon as I explained it to her, she had such a negative vibe in her tone. From the moment she asked for the tracking # to the moment she hung up on me "Felicia-style" (she yelled bye and hung up immediately). She was so rude, that I didnt even get upset when that happened. On the contrary, when she hung up, I laughed and asked myself "did it really happen?". Im a respectable person and am very polite towards others. However, Im very disappointed because I cant fathom how a respectable postal service such as USPS can hire this kind of people. If they bring their negative energy to work, then they dont deserve that job. Perhaps they dont deserve a job at all. I just took a glance at other reviews and realized Im not the only one who had such a terrible experience with USPS Malden. I hope people in power will read those reviews and take action. My interaction with the grumpy human being happened on Friday July 10th 2015, at 10:47am.

This is probably the WORST post office Ive ever had to deal with and even after leaving the Malden area, Im STILL having issues with them! When we used to live there, our mail was delivered late, ruined or not at all. The mail carrier complained about weather conditions during delivery. What happened to "through rain, sleet, snow", etc.? Now Ive already called twice to try and straighten out a mail forwarding situation where not all of our mail is being forwarded to our new address. Were still missing mail that is going to the old address even though Ive been told that it has been straightened out! I have to call them again today because now the wrong mail is also being forwarded to us but some of our actual mail is not. HATE this place!

Its so terrible! I live at a nearby apartment with my roommate and we have no mails for about 2months! There was no anything in our mailbox for such a long time! No bills or postcards or letters, even ads. So we called the USPS and asked why this would happen. Guess what, they officer told me that our mail box was broken, so the postman cant delivered the letters. But, no one ever told me about this. And if we dont made that phone call for USPS and we wont receive our letters forever. I think at least you should leave a massage or something since this situation happens so rare.

I have had a few problems with mail and Amazon deliveries. I have called this post office directly and they have been VERY helpful every time. They have sent a postmaster out to deliver a package that wasnt delivered because it said our business was closed on a Saturday when it was opened. I have also had to go in for a few different items and they have not always been the happiest ( I wouldnt either if I had to deal with people that had no intention to be happy in the first place) but they have never been rude to me at all. Always helpful... Thank you.

Wish I could rate a negative 5 stars. Called just now a lady pick up. Rude and have bad attitude and raises their voice at you like youre an idiot. If you dont like your job then quit. Dont take it on customers. We have questions, we expect you to help us with answers. But instead she didnt let me finish my question and said " What?!?! Who Say?!?! NO!!! Alright? And hangs up up quickly. It seems like its the same employee thats all these low rating reviews are talking about. USPS should do something about her!!!!

Awful. This is the worse customer service I ever receive. Please put better people to work there, they dont know how to treat people and are the most rudest people I ever met. They dont like to help and always have a bad attitude. Seems like the hate their job, they definitely shouldnt be working there. people find better representatives. terrible service :( Even the supervisor is mean and rude, no wonder why the other people do and act whatever they want. They do not care at all! What a shame for this post office.

No idea why so many negative reviews. "The line was long"... are you a moron? Its a SMALL post office and having a line doesnt make the people who work here bad. I was there twice now and both times the people who work there are professional and nice. I also use their automated machine which, if you have half a brain, saves you a lot of time and is easy to use for most mailings. People love to reflect their own stupidity in negative reviews. This post office is just fine, if not better than most.

I called the Malden Post Office this morning to see if I could pick up my package that is being delivered. I spoke with a woman named Charlotte. What a rude person. The first question I asked was can I pick up my package and she just was rude from there. I am a educated hard working woman, and I do not appreciate such disrespect from anyone. I will make a formal complaint. I keep trying to call back and speak with a supervisor. Guess what they have taken the phone off the hook.
