BEWARE THEY ARE CROOKS! My tie rod broke and I had to tow my truck there. They told me I needed many parts replaced and it would cost $2000 .... Since my truck was towed there and on their lift I let them fix it but questioned them in the rack and pinion needing to be replaced. The owner said that it was bent and replaced it. Another mechanic told me that it was okay but the owner of ADA took my rack and pinion and cut the rubber boot ... then after the fluid was all out tried to show me that it was too easy to pull in and out (the new one was too without the fluid in it) and then finally admitted "oh, I guess it was okay" ... He had already replaced it and charged me for it. I took all the parts that they replaced to anothet shop and they said that they REPLACED ALL GOOD PARTS except the tie rod that broke. They ripped me off for roughly $1,500.00 ... DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

DISHONEST. I was at the gas station close to ADA and a young family from Laredo were broke down so I offered to take the man to ADA to see if they had the part (a belt) ADA said that they could get the part from auto zone and the part was $145 plus $50 to go get the part. I told the young man that I would just take him to auto zone to save him the $50. We got to auto zone and found out that the part was only $38 .... I will never go to ADA again. They lied about the part price and tried to take advantage of a person in distress.

I broke down almost in front of Ada Automotive so I decided to have them repair my van. To my delight, I found that this is an honest local repair shop, who got to my vehicle for diagnosis right away, repairs completed the next day and who worked with us on the bill a little. Even though it was the holidays, we got fast and courteous service. I will be a regular customer and will also gladly recommend Ada Automotive to anyone!
