If i can give it 0 stars I would. I dont usually leave reviews but I will NEVER forget this salon. The hair stylists literally ganged up on me making me feel so dumb and stupid. They also will purposefully not get your hair to the color it should be just so you can come back in and pay another fee since its a "process". I cried in the salon and felt very unwelcomed there due to the manager Pam and the other stylists. The manager Pam will blatantly roll her eyes in front of you and give major attitude. I also work in Customer Service so it was THAT much more shocking to see them treat me this way. I dont like arguing with companies but this one, they were not treating me correctly OR making sure I was happy (which is basically what customer service is). They say that care about the "integrity of your hair" but it looks more like they cared about the $$$ since they did not mind me leaving after paying $300+ on hair that I thought is so brassy, red, and yellow and were not willing to fix it for free. Unless you want to go into a salon and not know how much you may have to pay for your hair even if it take 3+, then this might be the salon for you.

Great massage. Terrible front desk service from the brunette (who was working this day, Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 12:30pm). I bought a Groupon for a friend. Long story short: My friend downloaded the Groupon PDF to her smart phone, which they rudely, as opposed to courteously or politely, told her she couldnt scan or redeem. She said that they treated her with extreme disrespect (background on my friend - shes polite, tolerant, and friendly). They would not print it out for her (what business doesnt have access to a printer; if this was true, I suggest you get one and give your desk access to it). I had to leave work to come show my mobile device that I bought the Groupon with in order for my friend to redeem it. They did however let my friend start the massage while I was on my way to come show them my phone to redeem the Groupon. All in all, my friend said the massage was great, but the front desk service was extremely rude and unhelpful. Get a printer for your business, Tricho... or get better help. If you want to use a Groupon promotion, be prepared for this stuff.

I used to see Chris at Salon Vox downtown for years, and after he moved to Tricho I followed. I dont regret the decision one bit - Chris is incredible as a stylist. Hes friendly, versatile, open to suggestions, and has a keen sense of intuition when it comes to trying out new styles for a customer. Ive yet to walk away disappointed from a haircut from him. As a bonus Tricho always has plenty of availabilities which works well with my constantly changing schedule. Some other reviews mention poor desk service, but I havent experienced any myself. The darker lady with curly black hair in particular is very friendly and easy to talk to. There was one time where I had set an appointment but later missed a call that my stylist would be out of town, so when I showed up at my appointment she efficiently worked with me and got me a backup stylist (Tiffany I believe) within minutes. Tiffany was curt but very professional and skilled, and I was ecstatic at the cut. Looked much better than what I was expecting. All in all wonderful service and skilled stylists.

I have been going to this salon every 6-8 weeks for 2 years and I have always had an overwhelmingly excellant experience! THE SPA is where Tricho really shines! Marianna is amazing for waxing and facials (I get compliments on my eyebrows whenever I get my makeup done and I reccomend her constantly!). May is amazing for pedicures and lovely for manicures. (Im more of a pedicure person, myself.) Massages have been good overall, and when you find a really great person that YOU like, stick with them. The spa facilities deserve a nod, too. Great lighting, music, relaxing atmosphere, and space to relax after a service you dont want to wake up from yet. :) With haircuts, of course you need to find your stylist, that can be hit and miss on personality, but after only 2 visits, I found my girl! Tricho is more expensive than I was used to and definately a treat, but its the most exceptional service experience Ive ever had, the service is consistant, and everyone Ive reccomended to go there has come back to me rediculously pleased and dying to go back!

Absolutely Horrible!!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID!! I came here to get my hair cut and dyed blonde. (I have medium brown hair). I brought in a photo and the stylist said it would be no problem. She didnt mention that it would only be doable by someone else. The color turned out an ashy grey color and she completely fried my hair and only colored the top half!! She said that it was too damaged from the coloring and we would have to finish the rest in about 6 weeks. WHAT!?!?!? I was completely mortified. I was embarrassed to go out into public, it looked so horrible! I was not about to go back there and have someone else try to fix it. I was afraid it would fall out! I then had to search for someone to who was highly skilled in color correction and found Salon XL. Not only were they able to fix the color, but they also made my hair feel magnificent and gave me a fantastic cut too! I would highly highly recommend going there and steering far away from Tricho!

After my work day ended I drove 45 miles to the Ann Arbor Location. I saw the stylist who cuts my hair had a client in her chair when I arrived. After waiting 10 minutes or so the stylist (Niki) came over and informed me she had a friend in her chair who she hadnt seen in a year and wouldnt be able to cut my hair because she was working on her. I made the appt about 5 days earlier. I was never given the courtesy of a phone call to let me know what the situation was. It was very obvious to me Niki could care less if she lost me as her client. Shes been there quite a while and she knows this will not affect her business in the least. I would just be cautious if you make an appt and it happens to be "Niki" as your stylist. Ask for some one more reliable and professional. The manager was very professional though when I called back to complain.

Good evening Sanduni Silva. We appreciate your feed back. Customer satisfaction is very important to us. You were very pleased with your service as you mentioned to us during your first visit. Your stylist did explain that the degree of lightening that you wished to achieve would be a process over several appointments. You came to the salon as a color correction which you mentioned your friend had attempted to color your hair and you wanted it corrected. Our policy is to maintain the integrity of the hair without damage during this process. Yes, there is a charge each visit as it takes time from going from very dark black/brown to very light blonde. While other salons may do this in one visit it also damages the hair which we are not comfortable with. We wish you the best of luck on your journey to achieve your ultimate color.
