Yes, at $70+ a month it is a waste and thats too bad because this used to be a nice gym with a positive atmosphere. Way too many people wandering in on some form of "Guest" pass. My guess is its about 50/50 paying members to non paying members. More on the weekend. I picture in my mind an old car with a loud speaker attached to the roof ala Blues Brothers style driving through the inner city trying to lure in customers. You know the scene... Gym is way too interested in bringing in new members than offering the high quality of services promised to the current paying members. Lifetime just cant get over that chasing good money with bad money philosophy taught not to due in sales 101 class. Rules? There are none. There are some listed rules on the wall, but they are not enforced, nor is anyone held accountable for breaking them as no one working at Canton Lifetime enforces them. Doesnt seem to be any management at this club. Theres a ton of employees working there for the day to day operation, but their overall function besides justifying the high monthly dues, seem to be a mystery to me.. Dont get me wrong- there are good employees there but not enough to overshadow the mass. The Basketball courts are nice but usually jammed with Daycare children. TONS of kids everywhere. NOTE: After 5PM, enter(BBcourts) at your risk but dont you dare bring your children unless you have an iron gut for racial slurs and knee jerk physical altercations. Too many would be "Pro Ballers" fighting over their pretty tattoos and cell phones. But hey, if you havent seen it for yourself, do your homework with the Canton PD on that one.. The pool? Nice and ran well, but since this years 2016 opening, i personally have put my hand in poop and stepped in poop while in the pool. Yes, the staff does seem to have a plan of action set up, nor is it their fault, but its after the fact. YUK! Theres that Lifetime Daycare affect in the pool id suspect.. I could talk about the "guests" congregating and changing clothes in the parking lot, towels and crap scattered all over the gym, and my favorite workout equipment disappearing overnight, but why bother? As i said, if you dont believe me, just see for yourself and make your personal assessment? I hope this helped hearing the true opinions from a 10+ year Lifetime member who is so totally fed up and frustrated with the operations and policies of this THIS gym that he quit? But for my $850 a year, i believe i deserve better! Give the Novi Lifetime a good look......

Above new pics are what you breathe while you are sitting in sauna. Black moldy stinky water sitting under the wooden floors due to the gym not wanting to pay someone to fix a drain that is sitting too high and stopping water and sweat from going into drain. So it sits there, just for you ! They should be ashamed ! So now they close the sauna at 10 pm, 11 pm, or midnight to lift out the floor with all the workers that should be cleaning gym, and they get the gunk up, and it starts all over again. ..I WOULD THINK THE CITY OR STATE WOULD SHUT THE GYM DOWN UNTIL THIS IS FIXXED CORRECTLY ??? ITS NOT SAFE. And its sad someone has to show this...also they have a schedule to go by to clean sauna and the steam room , but they do not go by the schedule so if u show up, they both are closed at the same time, And this is why they are suppose to shut down at 2 am and 145 am.. Hmm.... and today Sept 30, 2016, we hear they are raising everyones fees again, so now some good members are going to check out another gym to go to...None of these pics are even of Canton . Not even close. .. I had a member advisor manager in Canton Michigan (Emily) say she could give a F×€£ (exact words) about anyone reporting anything about a guy worried someone was looking at his dick in the locker room, and if it was a lesbian that it would be fine because guys think thats hot, this is when i was complaining about a situation I reported to them with an out of control worker in the locker room being a threat to me. Only because when she asked who it was, I said the gay one. Which she jumped on because she said alot of her family members are gay, which I pointed was not the reason for my complaint. EVEN THO, as it is I was told by workers that a dude was posting pics online of naked men in the locker room. SO I GUESS IT SHOULDNT BE AN ISSUE.. How does that help members in any way ?? First a locker worker that yells at me and disrespects me for him not doing his job, and then the gym doesnt do what they said they would to keep the threat away from me at night in locker room, then a manager that disrespects me with her foul mouth and personal opinion. Very bad service from all sides in this place. Im going to stop my membership and cut my card off so i dont pay for this junk.

I have some questions for the "owner", since your website is unable to accept my questions. I would like to say that overall, the gym is nice. You have plenty of equipment that you can essentially do what you would like. The problem that I do have is the trade of quality for quantity. With an increase in price, not based on inflation, you would expect the services to increase. So why is it that... 1. Due to floor damage you get rid of every dumbbell over 105 lbs? I have a plethora of other control mechanisms that you could use to prevent floor damage. When I asked your employees why this happened, they respond by saying that it is cooperate policy. When I asked the other Lifetime Facilities, to confirm, they said it is NOT cooperate policy. So to us, it seems like you lied because you are unable to use other preventative mechanisms, instead you take the equipment away. 2. Whenever I would like to wipe down my equipment after use, it turns into a hunt to find the sanitary wipes. With increased costs, these should never be empty. 3. There are Towels everywhere on the floor; the locker room is trashed; there is garbage everywhere. With the increased costs, you should be able to hire more employees to police the locker room. 4. I have personally reported used toilet paper on the floor three times. There has been fecal matter on the toilet seats and the floor until someone reported it. Again with increased costs, you should be able to hire more employees that can constantly check stalls and correct the problem makers. 5. Usually one stall is out of toilet paper. 6. Usually there are wet towels everywhere in the showers. Sometimes you have to dodge them just to rinse off. So the bottom line is that Lifetime keeps making more money, while gouging its members. With this extra money you take away our gear, dont police our facility for cleanliness, treat your employees bad, and expect us to be happy about it; hell, you even expect referrals to trade for lifetime bucks for over priced "everything". I would like to suggest that the establishment should sit down, and think about what it can do it increase its quality. That would be loyal to the establishment.
