Not a good experience!! 9 moves across the country. 8 with franchised movers that were perfect, no damage, not disorganization and adequate packing material and sensible packing. The damage was extensive from carelessness, and trying to rush the job with Scully. The $1000 and a few more dollars savings by going withScully vs a national company was not worth it!! The only photo of myself and mother was carelessly thrown in a box and unusable now. Computer and electronics thrown in a box, no padding or protection and two busted monitor stands, which now make the monitors obsolete. Ruined Brown Jordan Furniture that wasnt wrapped and finish scratched below paint level and below metal to be finished level. Gouged new wood pieces that werent wrapped properly. Huge dents and scratches below the stain level. Now I have white gouges on the table tops. Not repairable. Leather chair that wasnt wrapped and a hole about 1.5" diameter punched through the seat. Pat, owner said he would personally pay for but no check so far. Original oil painting, not properly packed and ruined. Repairable $85 later. Pressure point on the painting caused cracking and flaking. Original oil painting not properly packed caused the frame to split in all four corners. A $185 repair cost with a new frame that was unnecessary! I had to call them back 2 X for forgotten packed items. Unfortunately the forgotten American Seating desk chair that had 5 caster leg was thrown in the back of a pick up truck. Delivered chairs had a busted caster and chair was unusable until I replaced 5 casters. No apology and no admission of negligence other than the person picking up the chair didnt think. I dont think they recognize quality pieces. I had a Hubbardston Forge lamp ($850) improperly wrapped and protected. It was in mint condition and next to new. Not now. The finish has been rubbed off to bear metal from the plug that was left dangling and rubbed the finish off the post of the lamp. And then there is a silk lamp shade that was torn both inside and out! Items not sensibly packed. Bedroom remote for the TV was packed in a dress pair of shoes box. Had the box not fallen over and remote fallen out I would still be looking for it. It took me forever to settle my kitchen. Kitchen items were in numerous boxes and miss-marked. I had a large kitchen, but one would expect like items to be packed together. I shared a lengthy report and photos with the owner but so far no apology from owner, check, or thanks for feedback to better train. All of my issues stem from rushing and carelessness. Amazing attitude to me for a small business that has issues. We did fine on the first day with the packers. From then on it was down hill. Dan arrived almost 45 min. before the packers who knew they had a good 4 hours of packing to do. Dan changed everyones job responsibilities and from there we went down hill. I can only presume he was the root of our move problems. He was too busy rushing, loading the truck than worrying about my household furnishings. It makes me sad to give such a negative review. I was so much more hopeful for an exceptional experience dealing with a small company.

Stick with 2 Men and a Truck. Worst moving experience ever. Even though I booked them 2 weeks in advance on the recommendation from my apartment manager they dropped the ball and didnt have me on their schedule for Friday. Instead they agreed to move me on Saturday morning for the weekday rate. Crew was 30 minutes late getting there and when they showed up I was informed that there was a 3 hour minimum for what should have been a 60-90 minute move. They took the whole three hours to move me across my apartment complex. Two men and a truck moved me last fall into the complex from halfway across town in less than 2.5 hours. This move was shorter and cost more.

Scully moved my Mom last week. They quoted her one price and after the move she was presented with a bill twice the original amount. Bait and switch at its finest. Will never recommend this moving company.
