DONT GO TO THIS SHOP ! THERES OTHER BRAIDING SHOPS ON THE SAME STREET BUT I WARN U DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP!!! I have never wrote a review on the internet about any place in my life. But I feel the need to write this one because my experience was so horrible. First and foremost they cut my hair while trimming my kinky twist they cut across too deep and actually cut part of the twist off.and its so many braids thats like that n my head Im afraid to take my hair down because my real hair is twisted into the weave so I know my real hair is cut im scared to see how noticeable its going to be. When I called to let the owner know what happened she called me a liar and said that they know what they r doing . I dont have the time nor the money take them to court but I do feel obligated to let others know what happened as a warning. They are careless and reckless about natural hair.

Very shocking to hear any bad reviews for Senegalese African Braiding. Seriously this is the best shop I ever went to. Every time I go there, my braids are always done beautifully and I receive tons of compliments, and they always ask me where I got my braids done...I referred lots of people. They are very professional and the braids are always neat. Kadeja, the owner, is a sweetheart. She has 8 more braiders and they quick, pleasant, and play good music too lol. Her shop is always neat & clean. I highly recommend.

Worst experience I ever had... She started at 9:30am didnt get done until 4:45pm for Senegalese twist... After one week had to take my hair down the itching was unbearable.. During the take down I realized 1) my hair was half braid half twist and it was it knots!!!! 2) The hair was dry rotted..( now I understand the reason for the itching)...Glad I took them down when I did or they would have for sure took my own hair out. A total waste of $160

Horrible. The person who did my hair had an attitude. Houghin and puffin because my hair was short. At least be patience. Another thing, I arrived at the salon around 10:30am and didnt leave till 7. NEVER AGAIN. DO NOT WASTE YOYR MONEY!

Getting my hair done at this shop was a horrible experience! I had a 1:00 appointment and they didnt start on me until 5:30. They were unprofessional and the shop was dirty!
