Ive been going here for a little over 2 years. I used to feel like Mike was an honest and helpful guy always willing to help on the price of work but now I feel like Ive been getting duped out of 100s of dollars each time. At first I was only going for my brakes and rotors and although I felt like he hadnt put new rotors on I wasnt sure and they worked so I didnt complain plus it was for about half the price that the dealer wanted (thought I was getting a deal). Then because I felt I could trust them I would go for everything else even referring people to them. Well I noticed that every time I went in for even something minor it would turn into $400-$600 job. Always making it seem like it was an emergency and he wouldnt feel right letting me drive off not fixing it. So any way this last time that I went (after being there 2-3 weeks prior and paying $600) my service engine light had come on and I needed a wheel alignment. He was saying that I needed over $600 worth of work on 2 parts that push fuel to the engine and he would do the wheel alignment also. I had a weird feeling like no way I should be having this expensive issue when I was just here a few weeks ago and had work done with a fuel system flush (mind u I had just paid the dealership almost $200 the day before for a fuel system flush which he said they didnt do). I said that Id have to come back and he wanted me to leave the car but I said no. So I went around to Harper Auto Care and the man asked me to get out the car and look under the hood and my engine cover was lose the air intake hose wasnt connected and there was also another hose disconnected. Cost me $65 Ahmad was very nice and let me know that hes an honest mechanic there were 2 codes that came up on the diagnostic test one for the air intake because it wasnt hooked up and another error which would only cost around $100 to fix. I showed him the paper with what Mike said was wrong and he said that even if that was what was wrong (which it didnt even show a code for that) it would only cost me $300 to fix. I feel so hurt and angry because Ive spent so much money at Auto City because Mike made me feel like he could be trusted.

I have $3,000 rims when they went in they were clean when they came out the yellow paint on the side of the curb was on it with whole bunch of scratches they claim no responsibility for it I took in pictures my lawyer came up we are going to be pursuing this and I will be sitting in front of the shop letting people know not to go here as they are going to screw you over and mess up your vehicle they charged me $60 for brakes when sign says $45 I have a receipt and picture of that also I will also be bringing that to the Courts attention the inside is dirty as can be theres bugs that are flying on you literally someone left yesterday because the bugs were flying on them dont believe me just walk in take a look around then you might rethink it might have the best prices in town but it comes out very costly manner, anyone else with a bad recent visit feel free to contact me and I Will bring that to my lawyers attention also.Im top of that he did not want to give out his name or number or the owners name or number to my laywer.my rim will be new in a damn year.you guys will pay for all your miatakes to all your customers. And dont believe for a second that the sign that says not responsible for anything is right the owner owns a property he could put whatever sign and whatever wall but that is not the law I have lost at you enjoy your day you will hear from us soon

By far the worst experience I ever had! 1st I went to get my timing belt and air conditioner compressor fixed. Soon as I drove it off the lot it sounded like it did before I fixed it. I took it right back they said something was hanging off the car so they hooked it back up and the sound went away. The next day the air conditioner went out. Took it back they said they forgot to clip something. They fixed that and the air conditioner worked. TWO WEEKS later the timing belt broke AGAIN causing the water pump to bust! I took it back and told them what happened and he gave me attitude but then said hell fix it for free. I told him it kept dying all of a sudden too and let him know its possibly the alternator. He insisted it was the battery, so I got a brand new battery. Im here not even a full two days after just to say my car is down again. Now its the ALTERNATOR. They wont be touching my car again. Before the first time I took it here my car was fine other then the timing belt! I have a 06 Honda Civic GREAT CAR no reason for it to keep breaking down!

If I could give no stars it would be best. My car was wobbling while driving it so I had to take it here cause it was the closet shop. That Mike dude name show does ring bells all down these bad reviews. He stated that I needed tire rods, wheel hubs. And then he call me and stated that I needed a new battery, which I did and a starter assembly, which that I didnt. The car started up fine with a jump. It was sitting in my garage for 6 months. So all together his price for everything, parts and labor $1450. Yep that what I said! GTHO! Paid it and end up bring the car right back for the same problem Auto City was supposed to fix. He had his mechanic to drive it and told me that its only wobbling a little, I told you you need to replace all four tires. They half @$$ fixed my car and Mike knows that but one thing you dont do is treat Gods people unfairly and take advantage of them. This business will close defiantly if they continue to keep this ridiculous behavior up. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE HERE!

So, Ive had my SUV and my grandfathers van in this place multiple times. Altogether thats ove $5000+for both vehicles... I do not like how they handle their business and I also feel overcharged for simple fixed. I will be going to this place for the last time today so they can once again fix what they did not fix the last time. My grandfather claims there is a warranty on my transmission that they rebuilt she we wont owe a thing. But the guy that did it doesnt even work there anymore, got fired. hopefully they will honor it and do right and maybe Ill change my review if not I will report them to the BBB . Cons: Expensive Small area to sit down Business hours suck Slow as HELL Cant always find the part needed Shady Tries to be your friend in order to compensate for overcharging you Preys on elderly and women Pros: Located near an Enterprise Will fix your issues, cause another and charge you for finding that other "so-called" issue but wont even look into what they have caused.
