I only gave 1 star, because it doesnt allow me any other option! This company is a BIG two thumbs down!!! I contacted A1 Comfort back in October to test some devices at our senior citizen housing property. Steve, was the technician (owner) whom we dealt with. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE service. It took almost a month for him to come and test our devices. I did not hear from him for almost a month after he "tested" our devices, so I called him on the 2nd of December. Come to find out, he could not find our paperwork!!! This was not acceptable since the city was threatening to shut off our water and we house senior citizens. NOT GOOD. It is now the 18th of December and Steve never came back to fix what he said is going to cost us "Thousands of Dollars." It was very hard to get ahold of Steve on the phone, for he doesnt return calls. If you do get him on the phone, you feel rushed as his frustration is easily detectable. This is the WORST company that Ive ever dealt with in the 10 years of my experience as a property manager. We just received another shut off notice from the city. Lane Plumbing promises to have this corrected within a week! Absolutely the worst Service & attitude in Oakland county. STAY AWAY, or get the run around for months!

A-1... They have the right name. Called for sump pump replacement and garbage disposial not working. Jack Shapiro the President of the company came over the same day. He replaced the sump pump,took the garbage disposial apart found a dime logged it it ,put it back together and fixed 4 slow running fausets . did all the work in less than 2hrs ... all for about what I would have spent on a sump pump myself.I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Very bad experience. I had a problem with my furnace igniter. The person came from A1 Comfort control, and did not inform me that how much it will cost to replace it. He changed the part and charged me $325. I will stay away from this company, ill business ethics.

Jack is a true expert at his craft. All of the workers and staff is friendly and knows what they are doing and truly care about their customers. I recommend them to anyone that needs Plumbing or A.C/Furnace Service.
