9/27/13: These guys are fairly priced for the good work they do. I have been here a couple times now and when quoted on a job previously I even checked with a few mechanic friends just to double check I wasnt getting "had" like some of the places I tried before, and even they said they were pretty fairly priced, so I stick with these guys. This time around the job on my fiances car was expensive due to what was damaged and the type of car it was (it was definitely a fair price though) and would take a while so they were nice enough to let him use their van so he could go to work in the morning. I trust this specific store and current management with any issues my car has and will continue to go here and refer others to them. 6/29/14: Again Tuffy on Miller comes through. Another costly job done on my 02 honda crv due to the incompetence of the Patsy Lou on Corruna. The guys at Tuffy did everything they could to keep the price down and my car is running great now thanks to them. If Tuffy on Miller does it, I go there and nowhere else.

Car trouble is never a good time, especially when you feel like you cant trust the garage you go to. This was not the case at the Miller Rd Tuffys. This was my first time using their services and I was very impressed. Bryan the manager was my contact in person and on the phone. He and the mechanics were extremely thorough with their inspection and relaying what was wrong to me. I didnt feel like they were overcharging me or throwing me for a loop. My car had stumped another shop in Flint before I took it to Tuffys. I was very relieved they were able to fix it. They went above and beyond to figure out the problem and I will recommend them to everybody needing mechanical work. Excellent customer service! Super knowledgeable! Definitely recommend them! Thank you Tuffys!

You guys broke my heart. I notice you have lots of 5 star votes those guys just wanted that discount or what ever the hell said you was going to give me but any who last march I came with a stalling problem with my car I paid for the 45 dollar inspection and you told me what it was charged me my entire tax refund and I left with the same problem I kid you not I drove down to thr McDonalds on the corner and had the same problem they told Mr to come back maybe three times and still couldnt fix it I was up there from eleven am to about six oclock and left with no money and the same problem you guys are really nice and you tried but it broke my heart you still charged me and I left with the same problem it really sucks man thanks for reading my pain.

Honest & Helpful! We were getting ready to leave on a long trip with my wifes truck and I needed a transmission flush...Tuffly was LESS than an hour from closing (the service takes about an hour)...I asked if it was still possible to get it done...not only did Mickey & Henry tell me they could do it...but they took the time to help me understand the process and showed me how dirty the trans fluid was. Im not a "car guy"...but it was really cool, how they broke it down for me. They NEVER tried to take advantage of me...or sell me something I didnt need! I live quite a ways away from Flint, but because of the HONESTY & GREAT SERVICE of these guys, I will be back! I would highly recommend Tuffy on Miller Road! Thanks guys!!

This was not my first visit to Tuffy Miller Rd and wont be the last. When I drop off a vehicle there for service they have taken my information quickly, called with a diagnosis and estimate, and have had all fixes repaired the same day without extra charges. Their work is guaranteed and I feel I can count on them for honest work. Last year I brought a vehicle in for a fix before a cross country road trip, they informed of an unrelated alternator issue that if not had been addressed, I very well may have been stranded in the middle of nowhere. I thank you Tuffy for your reliable work and for keeping my familys cars safe.

Visited on May 20, 2015 Took my car in to get the stabilizer bar repaired. Ordered one and even though they were sent the wrong part, they reordered it and "handled" the issue, instead of making it my issue. Love that! They also gave me an estimate on other repairs and told me about a deal on how to get those repairs cheaper than their regular price . **BONUS**! Their mechanics are knowledgeable and do a really good job. They even took me home when the process of getting the part was taking longer than what they had said. Their staff is friendly and honest, and that will keep me coming back again and again.

First to Hahseem, who gave the 1 star, I think you are referring to Midas down the street if you drove "down" to McDonalds because this place is directly across the street from it. I have had work done here on both of my BMWs, an X5 and 325ci convertible. These guys are excellent and very fair. Once they took me to my office while my car was serviced. The manager is personable with customers and the lobby is clean, huge flat panel TV and nice fresh hot coffee. I just wish the could handle all the repairs may have on my vehicles down the road... suspension, brakes, exhuast you can not go wrong.

This place sucks, they dont know how warranties work. I asked for a external transmission filter to be installed and they gave me crap about a warrantee. I said I would sign a paper that states I accept responsibility. Still didnt want to do it. Their excuse is there must be a reason why it is not i there from the factory. Yeah GM is to cheap to put one on. Im an engineer that works on these transmission all the time and know what they need and they need a better filter and new fluid( stock fluid is crap and full of impurities). Stay away and go to a place with more knowledge about cars.

I have received the excellent service of TUFFY employees--immediate service and timely manner. Their service center is full of many knowledgeable. My experience was very relaxed and comfortable, I feel that this is the most honest business to have my car taken to and have good care. When I was waiting, the manger told me that I could go ahead and take his truck, I told him no, that is ok, he told me that he would call when my car was done. They are honest and friendly.I feel very comfortable with the atmosphere. I think I had a good expierence in TUFFY.

Great staff and great service! Fair and honest. Took my sons car in thinking the alternator was bad. Turns out the problem was a bad battery, not the alternator. They could have easily gone ahead and replaced the alternator and battery and I probably would never have figured out that Id been scammed. However, they were honest and told me the truth. I ended up spending much less than I thought I would. This has happened more than once over the years Ive gone there. This is why I keep coming back to these guys!
