Came in to the Linden Rd post office for an issue I had with recovering a package. I made a mistake and sent an item to the wrong address in CA and was having a difficult time with USPS getting the package returned. The package was on the way back to me in MI and made it to a sorting facility in MI but then USPS sent the package back to CA. I was extremely frustrated when I entered the Post Office because of what has become a very time consuming problem. I waited in line for a short period before being directed by clerk to a separate window where I was greeted by a supervisor named Renae. I told her the issue I had with my package and asked to fill out a "Recall" form so I could get the package back. Renae had never had to do a Recall form and instead of giving me the run around she went in the back and returned with the form for me to fill out. I do a substantial amount of business with the USPS and occasionally like any other monster company I have had difficulty in the past with getting help resolving an issue. This case is the absolute exception! Customer service is not dead!!!!! :) Renae not only went out of her way to help me; she went above and beyond. She contacted a post office in CA to retrieve the package and ultimately return the item to me. Renae called me and left a voice mail to update me on the status of my return. Incredible Service! Very rude. Called after going in to get a package that was shipped back to seller from this facility. FedEx had the correct address when giving it to them, and Kohls had the correct address as well. When the FedEx tracking number wasnt "appropriate" for them, we have two women on the phone with us being extremely rude, yelling and cutting us off. We explained that FedEx stated there was no USPS code associated with it and gave us instructions on how their code might work for their search. They deflected all of our problems, giving us no idea what to do, and were downright trashy and disrespectful. One told the other to hang up on us, which she did. Apparently they cant be bothered to do their job. We called back and spoke with the "post master" who was on speaker during the entire conversation to begin with. She was just as mean and useless as the other woman. I continued to try to treat them with respect, but it was extremely difficult. Both need to learn a lesson in customer service, but I shouldnt expect much from them since theyre clearly straight out of the deepest depths of Flint. Would give no stars if I could.

Always helpful and polite. Had some packages not delivered because of sender and they always work things out with me. They do a great job and people who complain do so when they are under staffed md since they stay open until 6 people try to go last minite unprepared. Ive delt with many post offices and they are the best with great and helpful employees. Keep up the good work.

I laughed at the other reviews. For the Hours and location of this post office Ive had a good experience, every time Ive been in. yes there may be a long line at times but considering its location and hours I wouldnt expect it any other way some day and times.

Just waited 25 minutes in line on a Friday afternoon. One single teller with no sense of urgency. Service is absolutely horrible and customers behind me are also getting vocally upset.
