We must have the dumbest and laziest carrier of the bunch. Daily she returns 2-3 times to redeliver mail or take mail from one box and put it in another. Not once a month-DAILY!!! Too stupid to sort properly, read the addresses on the boxes, and obviously her managers dont care about the numerous complaints. Twice during heavy snows including today, she delivered mail to only two out of 9 mailboxes on my street. I AM THE ONLY ONE THAT SPENT TIME THIS MORNING TO SHOVEL THE STREET AND BY THE BOX SO THE IDIOT COULD DELIVER...AND SHE DROVE BY MINE AND MY THREE NEIGHBORS!!!! I know I have mail today because I am expecting a small envelope sized package and the USPS site says it was received 7:30 and out for delivery at 9:22. South Lyon needs new management and at least a new carrier for my area because in the real world of unprotected government jobs, they would both be fired!!!! You lazy, entitled, unmotivated, uncaring, manager!!!!!! TIRED OF BEING INCONVENIENCED DUE TO YOUR LAZINESS AND STUPIDITY!!!!! PROVE THAT YOU ARE NOT TOO STUPID TO LEARN OR CARE AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT...NOW!!

So far this year have had TWO Priority Mail items turn up missing. One was the title of a car we were purchasing, and one this past week was three custom created bracelets that were never delivered. Managers response? He would check into it, and maybe someone else in the condos got it by mistake. Nothing else. No checking into the guy who did the delivery....its weird, I have gotten junk mail returned to me by other people in the condos. But, my concern is the Post Office employee...but no one has called me back-I reported it on Saturday. & there is no response...like fill out a missing mail report. Horrible customer service. & I am out three bracelets that were a gift from a friend that can NEVER be replaced. Thanks so much for nothing. & congress keeps giving them money and allowing them to raise rates?????

This Post Office in South Lyon, Michigan is "BROKE"! Losing packages, re-directing mail when there was "NO" change of address conducted; not being able to tell you where the lost package went-how can you not find out?; rude leadership and management, this is exactly why people are transitioning from USPS to FEDEX and UPS, not only for package control and dissemination, but now as well for their mail needs. The more I think about it, for security and ID theft realities, the more and more bills I change over to online services as this Post Office is incompetent and not service worthy, nor does it appear that accountability is in their vocabulary.

Ive been using this post office for over 30 years. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they have helped me figure out the most economical, secure way to ship things many times. They also have taken extra special care with such fragile items as baby chicks that Ive ordered thru the mail. I havent experienced the same level of customer service at any of the other larger post offices, so I always use the South Lyon post office, even just to mail the most ordinary item.

The gentleman at SL post office tonight went out of his way to make sure I got my dress in time for a wedding tomorrow. I am floored by how generous it was for him to do this after our regular mail carrier was in an accident and it might not have gotten here in time. He even called me at 9pm to make sure I received it on time. I am floored by his generosity and cannot thank him enough!

Pissed off right now. Waiting for a package all day and just checked the tracking info and it says employee didnt have access to delivery location. What a bunch of crap! Lazy employee probably didnt want to drive up my driveway just like they never close the flipping door on the mailbox at the road! So irritated!!!

Lost multiple packages that were held for pick up. Then delivered to the wrong place even though the address was 100% write on the shipping order. Ill only use ups/FedEx from now on unless the company wont ship via them.
