The office staff was great when we first went to tour the place. The facility we first saw was clean and spacious. the staff recommended that we purchase an insurance in case something was to happen to our stuff so we did. The positivity ends there. When we went to move EVERYTHING we own there I noticed a mouse trap sitting in the hall next to our unit; this was not there initially on our tour. I hoped for the best but that definitely did not occur. A few weeks ago as we moved into a new home, I began to unpack and found evidence of mice being in my stuff and even had damage to some items. We filed a claim with this "fantastic" insurance and this week we get a letter saying that a rodent infestation does not fit under what they cover. Then why the heck have the insurance?! Overall, pay the extra money and go somewhere else. I have spent the last few weeks either replacing items or disinfecting EVERYTHING with bleach as recommended by the CDC. I am not even halfway through but I bet my water bill, grocery bill, and overall bills are going to be high this month.

My wife and I rented 6 units after purchasing several auctions from this location. They were the nicest most accommodating people we have ever met. We spent a couple of weeks working throught the items we purchased and got to know all the employees at this location if you ever need storage in the Lincoln park area please take our advice come ask for Caroll or Christine. We just want to say once again thanks for allowing us to do our thing. Wish you all the best.

A very professional atmosphere is always a benefit when you are contemplating renting anything. When I walked into the office to rent a storage unit I was greeted immediately. I was unsure of exactly what I needed, so the staff showed me the available units and helped me decide what size i needed. I felt comfortable and all aspects of the rental agreement was explained to me. I would recommend this facility with out a second thought.

Extra Space Storage always has and always will be my go to place for storage! The friendly workers and pristine ground-keeping always keep me coming back for more. I have never had a problem and have stored there countless times. I would definitley recommend Extra Space Storage-they always go above and beyond the call of duty to keep me happy with my self storage needs and I couldnt be more pleased.

I love this place. Recently I walked into the office and a customer who hadnt paid her bill was becoming irate with the staff. The staff remained calm, courteous, and respectful although the woman was yelling at them. I was very impressed with how they handled the situation in such a professional and respectful manner. Kudos to Carrie and Carol. Thanks for taking such great care of the place.

I was very pleased with this location. We stored our belongings here for about a year while we were waiting to get into our new home. Our storage unit was a drive-up space which made it very convenient. The grounds were always kept extremely clean. Office staff is welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a safe place to store their items.

I went there for storage office staff was amazing walked through with me showed all size storage available. Also very clean units. They have everything youll need from boxes locks packing supplies to getting a discount on a moving truck. I would recommend this place to anyone who looking for great prices and multi size units. They even called to make sure I was happy with unit.

This is the second time Ive had to use this location. Theyre the best Carol and Carrie always helpful so polite and accommodating. Best people for the job for sure. The units are very clean, Ive used the temperature control units and the ones outside. I highly recommend Extra Space Storage especially the one located in Lincoln Park.

I am so glad I found this place, the girl at the desk, Carrie, was so kind and very helpful. I was in a hurry and needed a place for my whole life to be stored for a few weeks. She was able to get me a unit and I had my things packed in before it was dark. I have my things out now, but would for sure go back if I ever need to!

Have yet to move my items in, hence 4 stars. They are very flexible and friendly! Gave me a cheaper price and figured out a lease to save me money. Took me on a golf cart to see the unit, and assured me if my items didnt fit that they would fit me into a larger unit. Very helpful and nice.
