The storage facility itself is decent. The only issues I had was with the staff. I reserved a unit online through their website. Was constantly getting phone calls about moving in and signing the paperwork, even though my Move-In date that I selected online wasnt for another 4 days. Just to keep them from calling me 3 times a day, went in to sign paper work, which then started my lease on that day. While signing paper work, Michelle was giving me options for their rental insurance. She told me that I had to go with their company for the insurance, when I asked if I had to go through them. Ended up canceling it a week later when I was told by my Insurance Agent that the storage unit was already covered in my current Insurance Plan. Like I said, the property was decent, and had ok units. Would of given 5 stars if it wasnt for the pushy staff.

In the area we have 10+ self-storage facilities. All of the facilities seem clean, safe and secure & each place is priced within a few dollars per month of one another. After researching my options online and contacting multiple places I found that the level of customer service was the only thing that set one place apart from the rest. My decision to choose the place was easy. They have an awesome staff that consistently provides amazing customer service!! Thank you to Michelle who recently stayed after hours on a Sunday to assist me. She could have told me to come back on Monday during business hours but instead she insisted on staying to help me right then and she had the best attitude! Its rare to find people that actually do go above and beyond to take care of each customer. Store your stuff here!! They really are the best!

We have been a customer for 5 years and needed to downsize our unit. First of all, because we are existing customers, we do not qualify for the"$1 for the first months rent" program on the new unit. Second, our July rent was paid in full but were told that the computer says you owe 39 cents. We should have received a refund for 1 day, or $8.12, because we vacated the old unit on 7/30/16, not 7/31/16. I questioned this a couple of different ways on two different days but always got the same answer, basically "because the computer says so". The "itemized" bill did not explain it either. Apparently you have to pay more when you vacate early. I gave 3 stars instead of 1 star because the units are nice and the customer service is good as long as there isnt a basic math problem involved.

Needed to store some things from when my mom passed. Put the things in storage there for a couple months while paying the rent as well. When I went back my key no longer worked. I went to the office and they said some work had to be done on the pavement next to the storage unit so they had to change the lock. I got new key and went to storage unit. The pavement was still the same as when I put things in there months ago. I took all the stuff out, while locking the unit behind me. The next day they called and asked me if I still wanted the unit as they noticed it was empty. I dont trust these people at all! Im fairly sure they go through each unit whenever they want. If you use this storage facility, know your stuff will be gone through.

Please read this is an honest review. DO NOT USE THIS STORAGE FACILITY!!! My experience with this company, and more specifically this location, has been awefull. It has come to my attention that the majority of reviews on this location are NOT organic. Firstly, the employees will LIE to you. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BUY THEIR LOCK (Section 17) and YOU DO NOT NEED TO PURCHASE THEIR INSURANCE! PLEASE READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS! Secondly, After 5 months, THEY WILL HIKE THE PRICE. In section 2 of the agreement it states that they can hike the price of your agreement on you AT ANY TIME. Do not deal with this company; there are plenty of other options and I for one am not sticking around.

My name is Shirley Couch, I rent unit 540 at 322 West Maple, Troy MI. 48083. Even though it was pass 6 pm. The manager Teri, volunteered to help me unjam the door on my unit. We took the dollie I was using and pried up the door and with Teri moving the door up and down. We dislodged the box which was fulled with hard cover boos. We were able to reach into the box and take the hard cover books out one by one to unjam the door. To prevent this from happening again, Terri stacked up the boxex to make more room and she stayed pass quiting time. I appreciated her help because I would not have been able to do it by myself because Im a senior citizen.

This place is great! Weve been here several years and have always been very happy. The staff Teri and Simone were super helpful in getting us going on additional larger units. Having these additional units during this frenzied pace has helped us to increase profits and having the security in place gives us confidence to leave all our stuff here. We have rented other storage units in the past and this location far exceeds the service we had at other units. Again Teri and SImone made our transition into the larger units ultra smooth. I would recommend this location to anyone for their personal or business needs. Thanks so much!

I was so frustrated when i was evicted i didnt know. I just didnt. In this hard time I met two wonderful people, Simone and Teri, when I showed up distressed, they took their time with me like they knew I needed guidance. They helped me calm down and recollect my thoughts and get me the items i needed to pack my stuff so it was safe. I feel like they are good friends I have made and I am grateful for their patients for a person panicking and frantically trying to communicate. Thank you both so much.

I was a little stressed the day that I stopped in to pick up some boxes for my upcoming move and was welcomed with a warm greeting from Amanda. She was extremely knowledgeable and helped me select the right size boxes for my move. I have already recommended working with Amanda at this location to a few friends who plan on moving soon and may need a storage unit. She really turned my day around and I will definitely return to see her for future moving/packing or storage needs!

Stopped in to get prices and Holly was fantastic. She took me on a tour of the property and showed me units that she thought would work for me. Although she didnt have the space I needed, she offered to check neighboring locations for me. Although I wasnt able to find the right size unit near my location I must say how impressed I was with the cleanliness of the property and the professionalism of Holly. I will definitely be coming back when I return to the states.

Lots of hidden charges. Like mandatory insurance at a minimum of $11 a month. Then theres their $20 lock you have to purchase. They advertise you only pay $1 for the first month. I dont think so. My first months charge was $57.19. Seriously false advertising. They advertise a price of $34 a month for a 5x5 unit. But with the mandatory $11 insurance, the cost is actually $45 a month. This place is a ripoff. Go elsewhere!
