Update: After writing this review, I was contacted by Gina who I believe is the Director and she profusely apologized and explained all those involved in this exchange were no longer with the company. She also refunded my money 100% and told me that a free clean is available to me anytime I need it. Added a star for that proper customer service. Thank you, Gina! _____________________ TL;DR avoid this Molly Maid if you want to avoid a headache and lost money for bad cleaning and horrible customer service. ----------------------------------- I am happy that other people seem to have gotten good service from this Molly Maid (which was why I chose it), but unfortunately the team that serviced my empty condo for a "deep clean" failed to do much besides vacuum. I was flipping the condo from a renter to sell it and I unfortunately ended up having to come in that weekend to do the job I had paid for in order to get it on the market asap. There were cobwebs in corners, dusty baseboards, hair in bathroom drawers, dust and whatever else in the kitchen drawers, dusty ceiling fans and SUPER dusty window shades, when I later mopped the floors they were FILTHY... the list continues but you get the jist. Before I had seen the condo, I called Molly Maid that same day of the scheduled clean to understand if they had even gone to my house (there was no phone call as promised). They said that the 2 woman team had gone there and spent just under 2 hours there. Ok great. When I later went to the condo after work to check it (within the 24 hour time limit Molly Maid requires), I was able to see the poor job that they did. I called back but they were closed. I heard back from them on Monday, so I was also able to inform them that over the weekend the charges posted to my card and I was charged for 2.5 hours of work for 2 people, instead of the under 2 hours for 2 people that I was told by Molly Maid themselves when I called the first time. Was told that because I didnt call back within 24 hours that they would need to check if someone could come out for a re-clean free of charge or not. At that point, I had already canceled my weekend plans to do that re-clean myself and it was complete, so I needed a refund less about $20 for the vacuuming that the team did. Of course, this is outside of their procedure so the gal told me she couldnt do that but could fix the overcharge. I assured her that she absolutely could, but that it sounded like she just wouldnt. She said I was entitled to a re-clean, so we spoke in circles about that for a moment before I asked to speak to a manager. She initially denied me the opportunity to speak to a manager, although it was obvious the manager was there since the girl kept putting me on hold to speak to this person. I somehow eventually got a manager on the phone and explained my situation, and was again denied a refund. I tried to appeal to her saying that I work in customer service and when a customer is complaining, you find a way to make it right. She again told me I was only entitled to a re-clean. Not surprisingly, it was only when I threatened to write bad reviews and call the Better Business Bureau was she willing to agree to a partial refund. She then asked me "why would you threaten to slander us?" Uhhh? Giving a bad review and contacting the BBB for a bad service isnt slander. Sorry. In an attempt to correct the situation, the manager and I agreed that she would refund me the amount to bring my total to $60. Instead of refunding me, I WAS CHARGED ANOTHER $100. Totally crazy. So I call back again, ask to speak to this manager, shes somehow not available, so I leave her a message and explain what happened AGAIN. Without so much as a phone call or email, someone at the office corrected the error. All in all, you should probably avoid this place, but if you do go here, see if you can pay in cash to avoid this fat fingered credit card machine operating! So disappointing.

I DO NOT recommend Molly Maid to anyone! I hired Molly Maid to come clean my house, and the effort that was put in was pathetic to say the least. I was told my home would have everything cleaned from base boards to counter tops to even the inside of some of the empty cabinets. At first glance it looked as if they ran a vacuum and cleaned off the bathroom counters. After further inspection I realized that this was correct. For the extreme price of $225.00 you would think that a semi decent effort would be given, but it was obvious there was none. There were still stains in the kitchen sink that they tried to hide by covering the sink with an old cabinet ( as if I wouldnt move it to check?). Gunk still stuck to the counter tops right next to where they left there note saying they stopped by, and absolutely no baseboards or mantles were dusted or cleaned. With the exception of the sink in the upstairs bathroom, the rest of the room was neglected, and the tub was not even touched. I DO NOT recommend this company to anyone who wants there home cleaned unless they want to spend a fortune, and still have to clean the home after they leave. In the image of the mantle I cleaned a portion just to show the difference between clean and Molly Maid clean.

By far the worst cleaning/janitorial company Ive worked with. (I work in property management). I hired MM to clean my personal residence and was disappointed starting with the 1st cleaning (deep cleaning). Several areas were missed and clumps/balls of dust were left everywhere. 2nd cleaning: consisted of a wipe-down of some hard surfaces. No actual cleaning or scrubbing took place. 3rd cleaning: they lost the key to our house. I called the franchise and a received an apologetic response. I was told they would pay for a locksmith to rekey our house but the franchise owner, John, had to authorize it and he was on vacation. I was told he would call me in a few days. Few few days went by and no response. I called again and left a message for John. After a few more days without a response, I called to cancel services. 4th cleaning (after service was cancelled): services were cancelled a week prior. I get a call from a Cleaner at my doorstep saying that they cant get into our house and Ill be charged a cancellation fee if they cant get access. I called the franchise office in frustration. Owner is unavailable. Overall: poor service, disorganized, poor communication. Beyond disappointed.

My mother just got home from the hospital I hired this cleaning service to help so I could get more done for my mother. The house was so much cleaner and boy did it help. Only to find our jewelry was stolen my 4,000 ring and my mothers 600.00 wedding ring whom my father bought and has passed some odd years ago. She will never have that replaced nor will I. We have made report to the police also to the company it self says who says they do not believe that any one of there employees would do such a thing. It makes me so sad that people think this kind of thing is allowed and accepted. My mother 89 is beyond hurt and sicken over this matter. Makes it hard to trust people with any kind of home services because of the disloyalty.
