Neighbors, do yourselves a favor and avoid this business! These are the folks that send flyers & coupons in the mail. As a new mother I was overjoyed to receive a cleaning gift certificate for my birthday. I scheduled a one-time clean & made sure that my schedule was clear to greet the crew. I waited & waited & no one showed up. No one called to tell me my clean was cancelled, it was only when I called the office that I found out the crew would not be coming. The owner, Dave, offered me $70 off of my clean as compensation. However, the second time that I was on the schedule the crew again did not show in the hour time window that I had been given. Not wanting to waste a second day waiting for them to come I left the house & got an email 30 minutes later saying the crew was on their way. No call at any point in the proceeding hour letting me know they were running behind (is that so difficult?). I shouldnt have given them another chance but they would not acknowledge my requests for a refund for the gift certificate my mother purchased for me (she also called) & they gave no indication, or response, that they wouldnt still honor their offer to take $70 off of the clean. So, I gave them one last chance but let them know how upset I was about this whole time consuming disaster that was supposed to make my life easier. I got the first appointment of the day so that if they didnt show again at least I wouldnt have wasted much of my day but two women did show up this time & did an adequate job. When I got the emailed receipt from what they charged my credit card I noticed they did not take the promised $70 off. I emailed twice, called once, and did not hear back. Finally I got through to Dave, the owner, and he refused to refund the $70 citing that the crew was "locked out" the time they were 30 minutes past the hour time window that I was given. Dave or Shelley (the manager) never mentioned this before even though I had brought up the discount when scheduling for the third time. Dave also hung up the phone on me at the end of this conversation. TL;DR: An astonishingly bad experience with abysmal customer service, not honoring a promised $70 discount, and no call/no show TWICE. Mediocre clean.

!!!! They left our house unlocked and garage door open when they finished cleaning!!! No one was home and my daughter came home and found the house like this and was afraid to go around the house for fear someone maybe lurking inside. We have been using them for 1 1/2 years and although there were occasionally cleaning issues they corrected, leaving our house wide open was an unforgivable offense and we terminated them immediately. Although they apologized, owner and manager all said people are human and mistakes happen all in the same sentence. Also said thats why they have insurance. They seem insincere about their concern and very lax on maintaining the safety of customers homes not to mention the utter danger posed by strangers possibly coming into your home and your children finding them there. While objects in a home can be replaced through their insurance policy, members of my family cannot be replaced. Cleaning Authority does not have nearly enough concern for the safety of customers homes and families. No one should feel safe to use them.

Nice PEOPLE working as cleaning staff. HORRIBLE customer service from owner/front office. most importantly, POOR cleaning quality. One good job followed by multiple terrible cleaning sessions. Will promise quality audits of work but never happen. Little to no communication between cleaners and owner. Owner got aggressive with my when I called to cancel. It was my problem to pay the cancellation fee even though I called and spoke with front office to tell them I would cancel if quality didnt improve (and I did after two failed attempts to clean and with two different crews). Best part he does not seem to think he should return my key (or at least I cannot get it back or him to address it being missing). And he sent me a back dated invoice for the cancellation with a 10 day invoice deadline.

After a full year of bi-weekly cleaning service with this company, I needed to change the date of a cleaning. I did so, and the team cleaned my house on a Friday. Five days later, they showed up on what would have been my next scheduled cleaning. I turned them away, telling them they had been there less than a week ago. The companys response was to charge me for a missed cleaning - $42.50. After an entire year of cleaning my house every other week, there was no reason for them to show up five days after my cleaning. They either are so disorganized they couldnt figure out the schedule, or they hoped to make a little extra money, which they ultimately did. Either way, its a poor way to treat someone who had been with them for a year.

This is the worst service I have ever had. On one visit the family room was not touched when that room was scheduled for the detail clean. After the last visit my kitchen floor was still dirty. My daughters socks were filthy from walking around. When I called to complain I was told that I should have contacted them sooner so the team could come back out to fix what I didnt like. I was offered no apology, no compensation, nothing. I do not recommend this service.

Nice low-ball quote and initial cleanings, followed by odd and oddly explained increases over time. "Your dog sheds more now" (nearly two years into things) and even the preposterous "there was a bloody squirrel in the shower" (what???). Wed have been happy to pay more based on quality and increases over time, but this just seemed pathological. Finally done with it and onto working with a real person.

Decided to stop service after a few months of very poor cleaning. Email response to my mention of the poor cleaning and request to end service was: "We will remove you from the schedule. Please forward payment in full by Friday 7-11 to avoid collection action." And my email was on 7-9, so payment in full within 2 days or collection action. Charming :-)

If youre looking for consistency, look elsewhere. You get a different person every time. We had some pricey knives magically go missing. I cant prove it was CA but no one else comes in my house and I only keep knives in one place. Hmm. After this last time with the toilet not been cleaned, its time to say good bye.

I started out with a one time clean and after that signed on for regular service. The cleanings have always been good and since the manager left the communication is SOOOO much beter. Just got a free clean for refering one of my friends and have another friend that will be starting up in a few weeks.

I have had Cleaning Authority cleaning my house for over 3 years. I have never had an issue or needed to call them due to any issue. Lewis has been cleaning my house for a long time. He along with many others is always courteous, friendly, and does an excellent job. I highly recommend this service.

Weve been using The Cleaning Authority for the last several months and we couldnt be more pleased! Alisha & Angel are usually the ones who clean our house and theyre friendly and efficient. We have a small dog as well who tolerates the noise from the vacuums as long as they give her belly rubs!
