I had been using "Two Maids and a Mop" to clean my home on a bi-weekly basis. The first cleaning was a "Deep Cleaning" and the girls who did the work did an excellent job. I then continued with bi-weekly service at a higher rate that was supposed to maintain my home at the level of the "deep cleaning" (baseboards, shower stalls, moving items to clean, etc.) The work was just never kept up. There was always dust in corners and nothing was moved on the bathroom floor to clean. Vacuuming was just in the middle of the floor, items werent moved to dust, the bath tub still had hair on the bottom, and the microwave was repeatedly missed. I called once before to stop my service, but after telling them the problem, I agreed to try again. The day of the next cleaning, I had to leave before they were done. I came home to find the (rather dirty) dog bed on top of my bed on my white comforter and my daughters dirty laundry that she had left on her floor, the dog crate, and a pile of trash on her clean bed. I dont know if this was because I complained or if they just pile things on the bed when they clean under things and accidentally left them there. Either way, it was uncomfortable and it seemed to me easier to put the trash in the trash can. Part of the reason I chose to try again is the girls are really lovely. They were kind and personable and good with our pets. I dont know whether their training was lacking, or if they were on a time crunch and so missed things (they were typically in and out of my house within 45 minutes). We paid $116 for a bi weekly cleaning. I called to get an estimate from an another company whose name I got from Angies List, just to get an idea of what they charge. They made an appointment to come out the next day. They told me it would cost $85 to do my house on a bi-weekly basis. They have since cleaned my house one time, but the difference is amazing! Our house is sparkly clean, even in the corners and behind the trash cans! My advice: shop around and read ratings!

Dishonest So its embarrassing to post pictures of my filthy apartment. However, thats why I need help. I work full time, go to school full time, and have two boys to take care of. I have been without help for months now and I finally had to stop procrastinating and find someone to help with cleaning my apartment. This service came up in a Google search so I went with it. I didnt have time to pour through all kinds of services. I felt so relieved when the process seemed so quick and easy. I did think it was odd that they said their workers ONLY GET PAID if you give a good review, but I figured it was more of an incentive program. Then, I came home to this... which I had to pay for because the ladies were here... no wonder! They guilt you into a good review. Now I am a jerk because I am giving a bad review and my apartment is a disaster area. They should be ashamed of their business model. I wont be guilted into a good review. I have someone else coming Friday to actually clean. Now I am out that money, I am a jerk for telling the truth, those women who came wont get paid, and I have to pay someone else. Horrible... I would feel sorry for them except there were two women here and they did less than my teenage son who is slower than a snail and complains when he has to get out of his chair for five minutes. I hope this review encourages other people to not be guilted into a good review just because the owners built a business model that basically gets your money and leaves you wondering what happened and then you look like a horrible person if you say anything.

This company lacks customer service acumen. Due to a communication error, I terminated services with them where I told them to wait until a certain time when I was home for the first cleaning to build a rapport with the cleaners and give instructions. My husband was at home working and let the cleaners into the home. Instead of being extremely apologetic about the communication error between the two of us the regional manager and Knoxville manager proceeded to argue with me for a continued period of time and repeatedly negate their apology by explaining why I was wrong given that I did not understand the industry standard for entering a persons home. In this day in age where everything is automated and customization to the clients needs are repeatedly overlooked, customer service and the ability to relate to the client is important to building trust with a company that will be entering your home, personal space and having access to things that are important to the home. Even though they may have background checks and be a well known company, I still feel it is necessary to engage in relationship building to gain the clients trust. Unfortunately, due to communication errors and the companys failure to acknowledge my point of view, I would not recommend using their service. I know the company will respond and I just caution interacting with them since they were not customer centered in their interactions with me.

I was recently in the hospital over the holidays and that left my husband to take care of our four small children, all the cooking, and all the cleaning. Plus it was Christmas week. AND my Dad was in town. Suffice it to say, my hubby was a little stressed. I mentioned that I would love to get the house cleaned for Christmas to help us with the stress. 2 Maids and a Mop came to the rescue! And they did a fabulous job! The were on time, very professional, kind, and the house sparkled afterward. My husband commented on how nice the house smelled. Yall relieved some stress and helped to make our Christmas a bit more merrier! The only criticism I have is they arrived at 1100 and we did a house tour and talked about my wants and expectations and then they started cleaning at 1130. We had paid for 3 hours and so I expected them to clean until 230, but they stopped at 200 thereby starting the clock when they arrived rather than when they started cleaning. I guess thats their policy, but as a first time customer I would have liked to have been informed of this. Other than that, great job! Thank you, Happy New Year, and God bless!

I had a great experience with Two Maids & A Mop. I rarely have time to clean with working two jobs. I had no communication problems with Ms. Morgan and most all of it was completed online via email. The cleaners arrived on-time and began work after reviewing the priority list that was left on the kitchen table, as I was instructed to do in the welcome package sent via email. When I arrived back at the house later that evening, everything seemed brighter, smelled cleaner, and the cleaners worked so efficiently, they completed my priority list and then some! They even left a note stating what they had completed in addition to the items I listed. The main thing I loved about the service was that they did not re-arrange my stuff as most cleaning services have done. As a creature of habit, I expect my toothbrush to be around where I left it and it was right there, where I left it that morning! Other items around the house were moved, but replaced after cleaning the area! Thank you so much! I will definitely use Two Maids & A Mop again for my cleaning service!
