I bought my car a year and a half ago from a used car dealership, so I have little knowledge of what has been fixed or done to the car. I recently had my rear/front tires replaced at Belle Tire and requested a quote for brake pad and strut replacement. They gave me a quote for each procedure which totaled over $700 in repairs. Having little knowledge of cars and knowing, at least, that I needed my break pads replaced I figured that I would get a quote from Midas as well. I called the shop and they told me to bring my car in for a quick, 30 minute, check up. After they took a thorough look at my car they informed me that all I needed was the front rotors and break pads replaced, but that my rear tire drum breaks were perfectly fine. Belle Tire quoted me based upon what I thought needed to be done, but Midas actually took the time to pin point the issue and were able to save me $400+ in repairs. I highly recommend their service and their honesty.

Mike, the manager, along with the mechanics get serious attitudes when a customer points out their shoddy work. That happened to me several times. The last time they refuse to correct the problem. They wouldnt answer my calls, and Mike dodged me as though I had the plague. They basically said the hell with me. And be wary of Mike, he tries to come off as a really nice guy when in fact hes a wolf dressed in sheep clothing. Sometimes he quotes outrageous prices for repairs that you really dont need. If Mike thinks youre ignorant of motor vehicle repairs, he will quote the shirt off your back. I dont know how he last this long being a manager there at Midas...which is a reflection of very poor ownership. Beware. Beware. Beware.

This Midas told me that I had a major problem that I needed to fix that would cost thousands of dollars if I wanted to drive my car. They even pulled out gauges and showed me things that made me believe it was true. I took it to a mechanic I trust, and they told me it was a complete lie, and there was nothing wrong with this part. I understand times are bad, but lies do not get you further ahead. My car has been running fine since. I gave it 2 stars because even though they overcharged me for the part I did have them fix, it is at least working.

I submitted an appointment request online at 11 am today. It is worthless. They say soneone will call you in 30 minutes. Its 3 1/2 hours later and I have heard nothing. I tried calling there and no one answered. Why have that service if it doesnt help?
