I want to do a 2nd review and cant figure it out so Im adding this to my first review. 5.0 star rating 6/23/2016 I am SO excited to write this review and its not even for the free oil change as Ive already received that which was VERY much appreciated! In fact, when I went in for my free oil change, I was taken care of right away and it was brought to my attention that I had a very dangerous problem with my car that I was completely unaware of. Not only did they take care of the problem quickly and efficiently, but they did something very special for me. As much as I would love to share details, I believe some good deeds are best seen only by God. But KNOW THIS... Speedy Auto Service genuinely CARES about their customers! They have INTEGRITY that is becoming harder to find these days. Ive received good service at a couple other places but Speedys takes the CAKE!! (Get it Paul? wink wink) May God bless your business richly and the lives of every mechanic! PS: You better believe were sharing this with your contact info all over social media! Sincerely, Laura Urenda We are VERY THANKFUL for Speedy! We first went there because its walking distance from our home and we were in a pickle. We were THRILLED to discover that it is not only conveniently located, but they offer quality service as well. So weve continued to take both of our vehicles there for any issue that pops up. Having a place to take a car that is reliable and trustworthy brings peace of mind. SPEEDY ROCKS!

If I could give zero I would. My first time here, we came like 35 minutes before they closed and all we wanted was an oil change. That shouldnt take 30 minutes. They were mean and told us they couldnt do it with an attitude. I went here again January 29th because I had a coupon and it is the closes Speedy near my house. They were disrespectful when we asked them questions. All I wanted was an oil change. They took the car. We waited like 20 minutes. Then they told us they we were done so we left. They didnt give us any information, like whats wrong with my car which I know there is stuff wrong. I get told every time I go to other oil places. They didnt even give me a sticker in the corner of my window to know when I should get my next oil change. I know its usually around 2 or 3 months. I was already not going back to them for being rude. So today (April 1st, 2 months later), I go to a different oil place because my car has been making a fan noise when its off so I thought it was my oil. They tell me it looks like I didnt even get an oil change when I went to Speedy. They showed me my filter that you are supposed to get changed every time you get an oil change. It was melted. MELTED! Seen it with my own eyes. They said I could have blown my engine. I wish I could sue this place for probably making my cars life sorter! THEY ARE RUDE AND LIARS who think they can take advantage of young people.

For over 2 years, Speedy Auto Service has been my number one choice to fix any and every car repair I’ve needed done. I’ve never had a problem, not once ; Until today. On my way to school I had noticed that I had 15 extra minutes so I thought, ” what better place to get your oil changed that “Speedy.” I was sadly mistaken. The service to was car was, as always, impeccable, but the “Speedy” part of your fine Auto co. had been completely disregarded. To me your name was soiled. The MOD was slowly moseying around, making me wait on him even after my car had been parked on front and ready. This was my 1st and Last time using Westland’s SeedyAutoCare center. I hope that someone is notified to let the MOD know because your company deserves better employees and your customers deserve the “Speed” in your companies auto service. What could have been a 15 (at most) minute oil change turned into me being late for class after having waited 32 minutes, and I was the only customer there until the end. I am not pleased. I was late for class, and UofM does not take that lightly. I want to KNOW that your company can be relied on once again, especially seeing how I usually only wait 10 minutes.

Very bad service. I wish I could give a zero star for this auto service. I came in , let them know I want check my vehicle, an old guy ask me about some information, his English pronunciation is poor, when he said phone number, it sounds like four numbers, I am a little confused and beg his pardon and then he stare at me and start yelling. When he ask me which year is my vehicle, because this is a very old second-hand vehicle so I have no idea, I tell him I have to come back to my vehicle to check it and he get very angry and speak quite loudly I dont know why After all of these, he ask for my key, I give it to him, after about 20 mins, he come back and tell me something is wrong with my vehicle, and it will cost 675 dollars to repair, I refuse because I feel a little expensive and he get angry again Then I leave and come to another auto service, they gave me the same check result and fix the problem with 560 dollars

I was a first time customer of Speedy at the Westland Store at the end of April 2011, using a coupon to get an oil change on my car. Not only did I get a fast, quality oil change, but Mark and Jim most likely saved me from an accident waiting to happen. While changing the oil, Mark noticed problems on the underside of my vehicle. He told Jim, and they asked if my car had recently been in an accident. I said yes, and they explained to me, as well as showed me the areas that were failing. I called my insurance company and explained what Speedy had found. They took immediate action with the repair shop to have my car repaired correctly; at the shop’s expense, with an inspector from the insurance company verifying the repairs. Westland Speedy, Mark and Jim have a new loyal and satisfied customer, and as I tell others of their outstanding service, I know they will get lots more.

If you are looking for a place to up sale you from an oil and air filter change, look no farther. I came here because my girlfriend needed her oil change and was told she had $2000 bill of parts that needed to be replace. I come there and the guy first shows me the calipers, saying they both need to be replaced ($250 each) which is bull; Sure they look rusted but what underpart of a car isnt in Michigan. But the biggest mark up of them up were the stabilizer links. They wanted to charge $450 to replace them (Some of which was included in a "Boot Kit" which stabilizer links come with and are not needed) When I looked up these expensive parts on my smart phone, I found that I could purchase them for $21.99. A mark up of only $406. Long story short, if you come here, dont be sweet talked into unneeded/highly marked up repairs.
