After bringing my daughters escape into your monroe location for a tune up, the vehicle ran good for a few months (but not great).May 3rd,she broke down on the side of the road with similar symptoms as before but much much worse. Instead of bringing it back to you guys, I brought it to Antlers Auto. A very well trusted mechanic close to where she broke down. After he dug into the problem we discovered that a few of her spark plugs were only in finger tight, and that one had blown completely out of the motor, and that they were not the correct plugs for her car anyway. As I showed him the invoice from your store, he discovered there were parts she was charged for that her car dont even require. When I brought this to your manager at the monroe location, I was told the plugs my mechanic pulled out of the motor are not even the plugs you guys use. Which leads me to believe that the plugs were never changed at all in your shop! I dont know whats going on with this situation, but something isnt adding up. My daughter is 18 years old, works her ass off,goes to college, and paid for this service on her own. Now, she had to pay for it twice! I want an explanation of why this happened and a full refund of the money she paid to have her car fixed by your shop! And the mechanic that performed the work, needs to be reprimanded to the fullest extent, if this is the type of work that he does. We have all the invoices and pictures of the parts removed from her car and everything my mechanic had to do to make it right after leaving your store. Lets make this situation right, before we have to pursue legal action, or get the Detroit news,BBB, and social media to see what happens at the Monroe, Michigan Midas location. Thank you for your time, I look forward to hearing from you very soon. Their response: "there must be an underlying problem in the motor" Evidently one that they couldnt diagnose the first time. Then its back peddling and lies about the work they never performed. NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE

Drove in on a flat tire. Asked if they could plug it. They came out to look and said tire was bad. Asked if they could put my spare on. Sure, at a $25 charge JUST to drop the tire as it is under the car and would have to "torque" it off. Called a friend to come to my assistance. While waiting for 1/2 hour for friend, they never once came out to even TRY to help. Well friend and I dropped the spare without it being torqued off. (I managed to put a little more umph to it. Probably from being pissed off) Apparently they are only concerned with the big bucks and not to assist a person who just needed a little bit of help. Forgot to mention it was pouring rain. You dropped the ball on this one Midas!!! I wouldnt come to this shop if I had 4 flat tires!!!! Wish 0 stars was an option!!!!

Had them test my truck for electrical problems. Told me I needed a serpentine belt and a alternator. My belt was replaced 2 weeks ago anyone that knows anything about automotive csn tell you if a belt looks bad. Try charging me 500$ for a belt and alternator. Said alternator was bad had it tested at auto zone and o rileys to find out its good. Now if I was a 80 year old lady I would have paid to have it fixed and been ripped off 500$. To find out itv would of died again after both were replaced. Ends up being a wire and a fuse. Place is God awful 94 a man hour. Moyers 60 bucks free estimates. Never will I go or recommend any one to these corporate scam artist.

Midas has flyers by the register requesting customer ratings on Google maps. So, you asked for it... I went yesterday with my girlfriend to get an oil change. She had two free oil changes because the previous oil change they got oil all over her interior. This time they did the same thing. Oil on the steering wheel, side of door and carpet. Its unprofessional and sloppy. Dont take your newer vehicle or especially white interior vehicles here until they enforce a reasonable policy for entering a vehicle without leaving a mess. True story

2014 Honda Odyssey - Local Honda dealer told me I needed $900 in brakes all the way around. I was told by a friend to go to Midas and see John, so I did. I was ready to buy brakes all the way around as long as they were cheaper then the $900 dealer price. John writes me up and his tech pulled my van in. 30-40 minutes later, John grabs me walks me to my van and shows me my brakes look good and have plenty of life left. Honest shop, honest guys..... 5 stars - thanks for giving the truth and not trying take my money like the dealer was.

nothing..they should barely get half a star..i waited well over an hour and a half for an oil change with an appointment....and someone came in after me without an appointment and left before me..i used to pay $23.99 for high mileage oil..which is what i was told they put in my car..now they tell me it is $39.99 and has always been thay way. I will NEVER come here again! Terrible service. And the try to scam you. They fixed my exhaust and a month later it fell apart and they wont do anything about it for me..

Dropped off vehicle for an exhaust repair and asked them to check the AC. Received a phone call and a quote and approved the work. Received a second phone call saying, the repairs were going to be an additional $600. Refused to pay more. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, the associate was rude and would only say, "I dont know I wasnt here" when questioned. When asked for a copy of the original estimate, it somehow couldnt be located. Worst customer service, shady estimates, and incomplete work.

I have 3 cars, and I have had all 3 cars serviced at this Midas location for different repairs. I have been pleased with the work they have done thus fair. Ive never had to taken a vehicle home until the work is complete, and always to my satisfaction. The general manager, John, has always been polite and courteous. He keeps open communication with me concerning the status of my vehicles repairs. Because of this, I will continue to bring my vehicles to this Midas.

Been to these guys several times and theyve taken good care of me. John and Brian run a tight ship! My truck needed new U-joints on December 30th and I needed it back for New Years Eve the next day. They couldnt get it done on the 30th, but one of their guys came in early on Saturday to have the truck done before 9am! These guys are honest, professional, and hard working! Highly recommend

Charging a mother of three 70 dollars too diagnose What turns out to be a common problem with my make and model. So common that a few seconds on Google confirmed the 500 dollar issue. Wanted too just tow it home, but no according to them they cant release my car until I pay the 70 dollars. Holding a single mothers car random. Great guys let me tell you!!
