Unfortunately I had a great experience here which turned into a very very bad one. I stopped in 100% sure I wanted a renegade told them my price and that I have a car I want to trade that I still owed rougly 3000 on. After days of negotiations back and fourth (in person and via phone/text)I finally settled on the perfect price for a new renegade. I also had my current car to trade in which helped too. They were giving me a decent price for trade in, and No real deal on the jeep but I was ready THAT day to make this happens. It was extremely important for me to stay within a certain price since we just moved to the area and are buying a house and getting married! I have in writing from my salesperson what I was financing if I put zero money down, and my trade in was on the paperwork too. I have an email with the sticker price, money from my trade in all laid out. I also have a text with a picture of the car, stating out the door what Id be paying (confirmed by management!! ). My fiancé then suggested before we drive all the way there to call and confirm all numbers. I then CALLED my salesman to make sure they knew I had a few thousand to pay on my trade in, and the confirmed twice, "yes we know..youll still only be financing what we agreed on". I filled out the online credit application to expedite things. I get to the dealership, transfer my insurance, talk to the bank to send my car pay off and all. Get to the financing man and he pulls the numbers...and it shows 3000 more in the total than we agreed (in writing!!!). He looked mortified when I showed him the text from the salesman and said "yep thats in writing". The salesman and finance guy come back and told me, "oh my mistake so sorry" I stated a few times I called and confirmed and the salesman confirmed he was aware of my car payoff... And admitted this. I had a very nice/ strict budget to buy a new car, so there was no way I was paying the price $3000 over what we had confirmed about 5 times. I got an "Im sorry" and that was it. Our salesman then stated as I was leaving trying not to freak out that " Ill call you if anything is your price range comes up". NO thank you!!! Im so disappointed not that I wasted 3 hours there on a Friday night when Im driving to Cleveland right after...but The fact that I have a hard inquiry now on my credit for NOOO reason and that they did absolutely nothing to fix this problem. I dont believe it was malicious but it was a huge error that was admitted by management and salesperson and should have been fixed. I now have to get a hold of my insurance to put my trade in car back on my policy...what a waste of time!:( buyer beware!! Seems like things in writing...dont mean anything to this dealership.

(As I finished writing the post and read it again I realized I should preface my post. I really did have this experience. Even rereading it now I am surprised how smoothly things went considering how skeptical I was at the start. Anyhow .. enjoy the story.) I am about to celebrate my first week with my new car and I couldnt be happier. This is the first used car purchase experience that I have been though solo and I think it went very well. I am an engineer and have been told in the past that I over think everything .. I suppose that could be possible. :-) In my case the dealership had just discounted the car and they were getting a lot of calls on it so I had to make a few decisions a bit faster then I wanted but the sales, management and finance team made the experience as comfortable as I could have hoped. From the start they were nothing but attentive and helpful. I emailed the dealership and got a quick response from Jacquelynn Skidmore who sent me the carfax vehicle history information as a .PDF per my request when I had some difficulties pulling it up online. When I got there for my test drive Dave Bryant went with me for a spin down the rolling and slightly winding roads near the dealership. On the drive I noticed a slight vibration when I hit the brakes and ask that they look into it. They had the mechanic take a look at it and they replaced the pads and rotors for me which completely fixed the issue I had prior to delivering the car to me. I say delivered because I work in Livonia about 45 minutes away and had no way to get out there so Jacquelynn and Dave arranged for a few gentlemen to drop the car off at my office. I was very impressed with the support I got. Throughout the purchase process I keep running into extras that I didnt ever plan on. For starters the dealership offered a very attractive range of warranty options. 5 years and 100,000 miles FROM THE TIME OF PURCHASE was music to my ears. I feel so much more comfortable knowing the major components of the vehicle are covered .. even the all wheel drive parts and way to many others to mention here. The vehicle I purchased also qualified for a program called "Tires For Life" that I would ask about. Now I dont have to worry about my tires for the life of the vehicle either. I even talked to Jacquelynn yesterday and she got the information of the detailing solution they used because I really enjoyed the way the car turned out. Bottom line .. I would suggest this dealership to anyone that is looking for the experience I described above. I am sure I left things out but I hope you are getting my point. Wishing you safe travels, Sam

*This Salesman did not care about their customers* We had the misfortune of working with Dave. Dave seemed to understand our budget and needs, but continued to come back with quotes $100+ over what we could pay monthly after pleading with his boss in the back room. This company (whether the decision was up to Dave or his boss) did not budge from their prices until we visited another dealership that offered us affordable rates no hassle and told him about it! Not only was Dave incapable of finding us a vehicle to meet our growing family (my husband and I are expecting baby number two shortly) and financial plan without threat from another business, he REQUIRED US to fill out credit information so he could see what else we would qualify for. Dave PROMISED that he wouldnt pull our credit score with this information. And he didnt. Instead he and/or his boss sent our inquiry (quoted because we never gave permission for them to do this and they gave no indication they would) to over 16 LENDERS! This LOWERED OUR CREDIT SCORES IMMENSELY (combined +30 points) - HARD PULLS LIKE THIS EFFECT YOUR CREDIT SCORES FOR OVER 2 YEARS!! When we called Dave asking why he did this, he pled that it was his boss and that hed have an answer for us quickly. Never got a call back from Dave- and even if we did, the damage was done. We tried to report this to the Better Business Bureau, but they do not have record of this company. If you ask me, this is a terrible thing to do to a young family, especially one that was seeking help from a friendly, local, and family oriented business. Needless to say, Pinckney Chrysler Dodge Jeep has forever lost our business. We can only hope the next car salesman we deal with is an actual, caring human being.
