I took my car in because it was emitting a strange engine tapping noise, especially in cold weather. The mechanics at this location (Van Dyke & 23 mile) told me that it was a serious issue with the lifters and needed to be repaired for approximately ~$1500. Well, they did the work, and when I came to pick the car up the noise was EXACTLY the same. Despite claims by the mechanic that the noise had "gotten slightly better" (it hadnt), I managed to talk them down about $300, but they still insisted I pay over $1200 for services that had essentially no effect on my vehicle or the strange noise. I later found out from a more knowledgeable technician that this noise is not unusual on my model vehicle (apparently a result of a very slight machining defect on certain engine components) and poses no threat to the cars functionality or longevity. Had the mechanics at Midas cared to research the issue, they certainly could have found this out. Stay away from these guys -- they run a dishonest business.

Ive had impressive service here before, but my last visit left a pretty bad taste in my mouth. Nearly $3000 worth of work, and I received... -My car back 2 business days later than I was expecting. -A broken dashboard-mounted phone holder. -A misplaced (but found) hood rod clip. And after I drove it nearly 170 miles home I found... -A severed spark plug cable -A failed thermostat that should have been replaced during service. But not all was lost. They replaced the one bad cable I found with a whole new set. I cant ask for more when were across state. After my last review, I also received a mysterious $25 gift card to Amazon in the mail. Just found out it was from Midas. Guess what? Humans make errors. While I believe that for $3000 service should be flawless, at least they made some attempt to rectify their mistakes. Id be hard-pressed to find another auto shop whod do something similar. Still highly recommended.

took my car in for a front end wheel alignment,waited 2 and a half hours to be told they cannot complete the job because a adjuster sleeve was froze and would cost another $112 to fix.When I stated i would take it to my mechanic to fix and come back for the alignment they tried to tell me i had to pay for the alignment anyway because labor is 82.50 per hour,when i was told before any work was performed that this issue was common with my car and i would not be charged if they could not complete the alignment.After some arguing and bringing the issue to the 3 other customers waiting for service they said i did not owe them anything.Tuffy a mile down the road did the job for 50 bucks,do not go here unless you want to get ripped off

Was short for time so I had my woman take her car there because the rear brake lines had ruptured. The only reason Im giving 2 stars is because the job of installing the 2 new lines was great.... HOWEVER The bleed valve on the rear left was loose and still leaking fluid. For a bunch of "professionals" I find it ridiculously impossible for this to be an accident. I think they saw a clueless woman with a credit card (my card!) and decided to leave it just a tad loose so it would keep leaking and shed have to bring it back again to get "Fixed." I will never use this midas again.

I can only express how much I appreciate and love everything Shelby Midas. I brought my 2015 hellcat in for some exhaust work and they performed great service they treated me like I was part of the team. They took great care after my baby they made sure everything was perfect and took every action to make sure that my car was properly looked after. Hand down best staff and just overall feel satisfied and I will continue to bring all my cars for routine service as well as any other issue that I might have with my vehicles. I highly recommend these guys!!!!!

Working with Colleen, Rich and the service staff has been nothing but enjoyable. Even though its a franchised store, the place is run as an honest, mom & pop repair shop; a difficult thing to find in the automotive repair industry. Ive never been offered any sort of unnecessary repair work, their labor rate is very reasonable and they have always used quality parts. The staff is extremely accommodating, very knowledgeable and have never attempted to take advantage of me or my family members.

I absolutely love these guys. Im always bringing them weird projects of mine to work on and they havent let me down yet. Nicolai is a wizard with custom exhaust systems and every single one of the guys there is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure the job is done right and the customer is happy. Their level of professionalism and customer service goes far beyond what is normally found in a repair facility. I highly recommend them!

They have always given me a no-nonsense approach and they are very knowledgeable in all things automotive. I bring my fleet vehicle here for all maintenance and repair needs. The service is great and pricing is good too. Repairs are done in a timely manner. If they dont have a part and the vehicle is still able to be driven they will call you once parts are there to get repair done instead of having your vehicle sitting and waiting. Thank you Midas.

I had a great experience at Midas this past week. One of my front tires was flat and even though the parking lot was full they pulled my car in and had it fixed in like 5 minutes tops. The guy behind the front desk handed me my keys back and charged me next to nothing for it. Id recommend this shop to anyone. Fast service and great staff!

I have been taking my vehicles to this Midas location for years and have always been thoroughly happy with their service. I have had MANY MANY brakes replaced, muffler work and oil changes done here and have never had any issues, but if I did, I truly believe they would do what it took to take care of it. Keep up the great work!!

I had my first and last visit at this place. They replaced the spark plug and brake pads and I noticed a considerable drop in mileage and also started to have a bumpy ride. Went back to them and they just shrugged it off saying they have no idea how it happened. I had to spend extra 500$ outside. I suggest you to avoid this place.

I usually come here without a problem, but after having a very simple tire mounting. I am now missing my center cap of my wheel and my locking lugnut is all chewed up. It looks like they tried to torque it down (which even I know you arent supposed to do). I will be calling to see how this can be resolved when they reopen Monday.

This shop is awesome, the customer service is incredible and every worker there will bend over backwards for anyone. You will not be disappointed with any of the work they do. My car is in perfect shape and condition because of these guys! Love them !
