Got a catalytic converter installed here, four months later it leaks through the flange where it meets the muffler. They look at it and tell me the muffler flange is bent. My first thought is when was it touched other than when when you replaced my cat? He says they can bend it back and put a new gasket in to stop the leak for 150. I asked how much a new muffler would be. 220 installes but the manager assures me the muffler is fine and it would be better to save the money. So i say go ahead. An hour later no leak and all is well enough with the world. On my way out the mechanic says "i ground some rust off the muffler flange to help it sit better, but just so you know the muffler will probably need to be replaced in the next year or so. So i was told the muffler was fine and spent 150 when i could have spent 60 more and been done with this issue. Now its going to cost me just shy of $300. I have had quite a bit of work done here and always thought they were very honest, but why wouldnt you just tell me to replace the muffler especially when i asked about it? Called mr muffler and a new direct fit muffler installed= $160. I should have just went there had this handled and been done with it. Lost a lot of money, and respect for these guys. Sorry to say i wont be back.

I needed to find a new oil change place around my house and I have tried a couple different ones and wasnt too impressed. I looked on goole and found this place and thought Id give it a try. I walked in and was greeted promptly even though the gentleman behind the counter was with a customer. After that he took my information and got me rite in. They were very friendly and knowledgeable and did not try to sell me something that I didnt need. The gentleman behind the counter even helped me looked up information with an issue that I was having with a car that had 7000 miles on it so that the dealership wouldnt try and take money from me. He was very honest and I will be going back with all vehicles in my household and not just for oil changes. I had this oil change about a week ago and have been meaning to write a review so that people can experience the service I had received because its not every day you go in for an oil change and experience customer service of this caliber. I appreciate you guys and you have a customer for life.

I went to speedy automotive because it was the closest place to me where i broke down. I was across the street from them and i called and said i was worried about trying to drive it over. The manager sent one of his guys over with some antifreeze to make sure i would be ok to drive it across the street. After that they got my car in the garage right away so they could find out what was wrong for me while i waited. All that said, they got it fixed within a couple of hours and the repair was reasonably priced. Also i was happy with the staff that i interacted with (which was mostly the owner/manager) because they were very nice and made me feel like they were trying to help me and didnt just see me as money coming their way. Also as an added bonus my blower for the ac/heat was not working when I took it there, but when i left it was. And that was not what they were fixing for me. I would definately go back again even though its a bit out of the way and there are other shops much closer.

He was very honest and I will be going back with all vehicles in my household and not just for oil changes. Wasted my time! Made an online appointment for an oil change on Tues 6/16, was told I would be contacted but was not, went in to the shop on Wed 6/17 to ask if they got my appointment request and/or could get me in, told me "no" but would take an appointment for Thursday 6/18, gave them my info and came back the next day at the given scheduled appointment time only to hear from the manager that they never even scheduled me in. Told me that I could come back on Friday but only if I called first to see if they would have a "bay open" for me and that he doesnt normally take appointments at this location. What a Joke! Ive got nothing better to do then to come by 3 times only to be told that you might be able to get me in. How about you guys decide whether or not youll take an appointment time and keep it. Theyre are plenty of other reputable places in Sterling Heights to go to, they surely didnt want my business!

I went in looking for a brake job and oil change. The mechanic noticed the rusted out shock tower on my car. Bob the Manager quoted a price half of what everyone else would do it for. Bill & Dave the two mechanic’s that worked on my car went above and beyond on this one. I got the oil change the brakes done and the shock tower fixed all in the same afternoon. Bill also showed how he was able to handle the front of the shop as well as the back when Bob asked him to step in while Bob ran to a meeting. Bob in running a fair and honest shop. After sitting in the customer service lobby that afternoon, I saw how Bob handled many other customers, in the same friendly manner. I felt like I didn’t just find a new repair shop but made a new friend who by the way can fix my car for a fair price. I also went back two weeks later for an oil change for my daughter’s car.

I took my 10+ year old car to get service done on the exhaust and the rear brakes. Dropping off my car was a breeze. I was greeted by a very respectful professional as soon as I walked in the door. I dropped off the car at 1 PM. By 3:30 PM, I had received a call detailing all the issues and what options I had for fixing them along with prices for each. I chose what I wanted to have done and by 4:45 PM got a call that all was done. After driving away, I realized there is still a rattle in the back tailpipe area when my car is in gear but not in neutral or park (which is probably why they didnt notice). Thats the only reason I didnt give 5 stars. I will be taking my car back to get that fixed and I will use this place of business in the future for all my car care needs. VERY PLEASED.
