Dishonest. And incompetent. Had my car towed in with what was probably a leak in the clutch hydraulics. They told me I needed a new clutch. Maybe, although I hadnt previously had any clutch problems. Then they said I also needed a new transmission. Maybe, although I hadnt previously had any transmission problems. They said they found a really good deal on a salvage transmission--$900. Two weeks and $2600 later I had my car back, but it didnt feel right. They bled the system again and assured me it was fine. So I went on my long-planned vacation trip. Got to Montana and the car broke down. Shop there said "you need a new transmission." Turns out Revive didnt actually replace the transmission--they just contracted with a transmission shop to replace the transmission housing, and when they put the old transmission parts back inside, they screwed it up. There were needle bearings loose inside the housing. The Montana shop also quoted $900 for a transmission--but that was actually a transmission, and they actually installed it correctly. Of course, I was out the $2600, plus another $1900 in Montana, plus hotel, rental car, and loss of my vacation.

Wow, I cannot say enough. My car runs Fantastic since I found Nick and one of his staff members, Karim, who is assigned to my car. Revive referrals came from two different auto part stores, 1 in Troy, other in Sterling Heights, to take my car to Revive. Nick is very patient, does not rush you, takes the time to explain what you need and do not need. The other repair shop damaged my car severely, in which Revive was able to repair to a top quality car again! I did not want to purchase another car and now I do not have to. Karim is assigned to my car and he is so witty and easy-going. I felt I needed to have my brakes service, but Nick refuse to, stating to me, " YOU do not need new brakes right now and I will not perform and charge you for a service that you do not need." Wow! I felt the hourly charge for labor was a little steep, but after receiving my car back and the way it is running now, it was worth it! Karim suggested I switch to premium gasoline for better engine performance, and he was on point, amazing results! See you guys again in the future for regular maintenance!

These guys are great people to have work on your vehicles in most if not any circumstance... I had a gas tank replaced and about three days after it fell off wich WAS NOT thier fault because i blame ford for rust bucket issues.. But never the less Nick the owner had zero problems haveing it towed back to the shop and ate not only tow cost but the parts as well.. Now i did have a power steering issue wich needed a full replacement and did so in a timley fasion.. But with that being said the belt was also replaced and made squeeking noises wich drives me crazy considering its a buisness van and i hate pulling up to a customers house sounding like i have a bunch of gerbils on wheels.. Come to find out it was just the wrong size belt and is a easy fix..But thats small in comparison to the leangths they will go to make thier customers happy.. So i give them a 4 out of 5 stars.. If i get my belt fixed soon i have zero problems changing that to a 5 star rating...

I was driving down the road and all of a sudden I heard a clunking noise in my wheel, I pulled over to the side and noticed that my tire was sitting inside of my fender and I didnt know what to do because I was just about to go out of town. I called a dozen places and none of them could get it done even within a week as well as their price quotes were over $1000. By the time I called Revive auto repair I was frustrated and I knew they werent going to help me, but I was wrong. Dakota walked out and got the keys to my vehicle and said dont worry will have this fixed up for you in a jiffy! I was a little doubtful but I had hope within three hours I was driving my vehicle and the bill only came to $350 which is a dramatic decrease from the thousands of dollars everybody else wanted to charge me! Thank you so much Revive Auto repair I tell everyone about you!

Awsome experience. Went because i had a steering clicking noise without appointment considering i will be leaving the car there. The owner immediately came out and checked it out and it was normal noise. I told about another problem the car had and he said lets go for test drive which was awsome. During the drive he communicated how good the car drove and that the car was perfectly fine. No upselling. Havent had a similar experience. Have the cheapest wheel alignment as well. Will be coming back for any problems.

My sisters car broke down a few buildings down. Serpentine belt snapped. I couldnt get the car to start or steer without a ton of force. Nick offered to come out and hook up a portable battery to get car in a left turn lane in traffic. He did this without hesitation, drove the cat back to his shop. Within a half hour the car was fixed and she was in her way. Price was great, service was above and beyond. Thank you for all your help!

Revive Auto and Nick exceeded my expectations today. I went in for a simple oil change and Nick went beyond just changing out my oil, he saw a few simple quick cosmetic fixes he could make to the interior of my car and did them free of charge. Amazing service that you dont really find in automotive shops in this day and age, unless you know the mechanic personally..was my first time at Revive and meeting Nick today, wont be my last

Every time I have went to Revive it has been a pretty good experience. The pricing is very transparent and fair(versus a block pricing for something based on how much they think they can get from you). The recommendations are always appreciated. Im not nervous about going to the shop because Ive never felt like I have to prepare for a showdown in order to not get swindled. Plus they a Repair Pal shop, which estimates prices.

My car started running rough and shuddering while driving. Turns out one of the four cylinders wasnt working because of a ... uh, part (Im clearly not a mechanic) that needed replacing. I pulled into Revive and Nick ran the codes, replaced the part and had me on my way in less than an hour. Couldnt have been happier with the speed and courtesy of service, and the fair price and low cost of labor charged. Thanks!

Terrible experience stay far away from these guys. We paid over 700$ to get exhaust work done on our 98 crv, the problem was never fixed. We took the car back to them 3 times and 3 times they just patched the weld job they themselves did. A year later we find out by real professionals Revive never actually did the work we paid for. Stay far away save yourself the fustration and money!!!

I was in Troy when my car started acting weird. Check engine light kept blinking. Being a student, car repairs could be scary. I called revive auto and got an appointment in next 2 hours. Spoke to Nick about what was happening and he was able to diagnose my car and get it back running again. It didnt hurt my wallet that bad. I would definitely come back here again.
