Decent shop, but stupid mistakes cost me time and money. Failure by the technician to lock my hood caused it to fly up into the windshield while I was driving! Paid $47 for synthetic oil change on my 2004 Jaguar. After leaving my car started smoking from under the hood. Brought it back and they said that they because they forgot to wash the oil off the engine (not sure why it was on there to begin with) the oil was burning off. Having to bring the car back made me late for work costing me money. I brought the car back 2 weeks later so that they could finish the inspection that they didnt finish during my oil change. They refilled some fluid and returned the car to me. Drove it home that night and kept hearing a sound that I was not used to every time I hit a bump. Made it home that night okay. The next morning I was headed in to work, and I heard the sound again. Soon as I realized that the noise was my unsecured hood flailing in the wind the hood flew up into my windshield. Bent the hood horribly and basically destroyed it. Again I was late for work because of this incident. Took it back to the shop looking for assistance. The owner had his tech knock out the dents the best he could, put it back on, and secure it. Told me that it was "safe to drive" and sent me on my way. Yes the car is now safe to drive but the hood looks horrible. When I called back to discuss getting the hood replaced, they told me that I should "sell the car" because its just going to keep costing me money. I just bought the car and I dont want to sell the car. Even if I wanted to, how could I with my hood looking that way? Then, they told me that it happened because my emergency latch failed. That may be true, but the emergency latch would have never been needed had they actually CLOSED MY HOOD in the first place. I have open and closed my hood several times and never have I had this problem. The owner Bill never owned up to another bad mistake by his technicians that AGAIN COST ME MONEY! His resolution? Told me I could buy another hood from the junkyard and that they would put it on for me. Unacceptable...I should never have to come out of pocket to fix their mistake. Once again, I am left holding the bag with a dented and paint chipped hood. Whos responsible...? Me, for ever trusting this company with my vehicle. NEVER again!

I never write a review unless I have a super awesome experience somewhere, or a really bad one! Walking into interstate, I was a bit sceptical because Ive been to so many shops that have tried to rip me off. Ive been shopping around for cars for the last couple of weeks and its been one of the most frustrating, emotional, and stressful experiences of my whole life! My father passed away not too long ago so doing something like buying a car without a man present is very hard. Scam after scam! And everyone treats you like youre a dang fool! Even auto mechanics when you ask them to inspect your car! Thats until Bill (the owner) came along! I stopped in to visit his shop to get a car checked out that I wanted to purchase and after reading it, he saved me $4,800! Because there were a million invisible things wrong with it! BUT THATS NOT ALL!!! Without even knowing my situation, He went above and beyond to help me! He gave me his personal cell phone told me to face time him, and ON HIS OFF DAY showed me what to do to test the quality of a car, how to inspect it, spoke to sellers asking them qualifying questions, and had scammers shook!!! I felt like my father was with me in spirit. THATS HOW GOOD HE WAS! I will recommend my friends, family, and anyone reading this review to go to him!!! You can trust him! And very soon,I will be taking my New Nissan Sentra to him for any and all future repairs. Hes honest! Hes knowledgeable! He taught me a lot! He treated me with care like hes known me forever! I have nothing but good things to say! ☺

Amazing Staff!!! I have never experienced an owner going to bat for the customer against an insurance company before, but Bill did it! He would not allow the first low ball inspection of my repairs to happen, so we got a second insurance adjuster out and he argued safety points and got them to up the estimate almost double to make my car safe again. #amazing Bill and Joe were always great to deal with, very informative, and my car runs great. I will be back for future repair work, and I already started telling my family and co-workers. Yea, you can always go "somewhere cheaper" but in return you will get "cheaper work" Do yourself a favor and go here, trust them. You will be highly satisfied.

Terrible . This place tried to scam me out of 450 dollars for a hood cable when it wasnt even the problem . If I wasnt smart and know about cars , they could of easily scammed me . Seriously this shop is the reason why women cannot go to shops alone . I do not recommend going here . Update :: a few days later after I posted this post , bill the manager contacted me regarding the situation . He was very concerned and understanding . He did refund my money that I did pay this day & was very apologetic . I definitely appreciate the concern he has with his customers . So for everyone out there just be careful and if you think your getting scammed out of your money just talk to him .

I had a flat tire this morning in the pouring rain - and got off I-75 at 14 mile expecting my day was ruined. I turned into the first place I saw: Interstate Auto Care. What a spectacular bunch of guys! They instantly put on the spare and got me back on the road, and then fixed my punctured tire - tested it - and I stopped by later in the day to have my tire put back on the car. Friendly, helpful, honest, fast and low cost - they turned a bad morning into a terrific day. PLEASE use Bill, Joe and their team - this is exactly the kind of small business that deserves your business!!

Great shop. Great people. Great work. Im very comfortable dropping my vehicle at Interstate and saying "Fix It" knowing that they do excellent work as a very reasonable price. Ive never had them try to fix anything that wasnt broke or mislead me or my wife on any repairs. Very honest and will tell you if something is wrong or not. These guys are perfect for a "second opinion" when someone says "you need a new transmission". You owe it to yourself to use Interstate.

Good service. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Visited Woodward Dream Cruise from Canada with my -75 Pontiac Grand Ville. The master cylinder started leaking Friday evening. Brought my car in Saturday morning. They worked on my car until it was fixed at 6:00 pm even though the shop is closing at 5:00 pm Saturdays. I was able to get back on to road and continue cruising on the Woodward Dream Cruise, and also able to return to Canada next day.
