I heard some good things about this place from my coworkers so I went there to get my car light fixed. I had gone to get my oil changed at a Midas and they detected a leak. They wanted about $50 for both the leak and the headlight but I thought Id go somewhere local thinking they were just taking advantage of me being a woman and not knowing much about cars. $70 later I left with a fixed headlight and thats about it. It took more effort to get the pins out so they charged me more and charged me for detecting some seepage in my tank but said it was fine. Ill drive the extra 40 miles for my hometown mechanic before ever going back to this place. Ive never been charged so much for nothing being wrong with my car.

Thank you Ron!!!!! Im from Rochester and my car broke down just north of Cannon Falls and I was towed to Cannon Auto Repair. They were amazing! Its an old car and I was sure it was done for. I called all the car people I know and told them what had happened - they all gave it a grim prognosis. I was already shopping for another car when Ron called the next morning. Theyd figured out exactly what was wrong and that the engine was still intact. They were able to fix it for less than I would have paid elsewhere and I have my wonderful car back! Love you guys! I purchased an inexpensive used car 5 months ago. The car is slowly revealing its quirks. Luckily, Cannon Auto has fair prices and no sales pressure. The mechanics do thorough inspections and have been very good at letting me know what work needs to be done and order of importance. Their attention to detail, like finding a burnt out license plate bulb before I was stopped by a cop, keeps my life running a bit smoother.
