Several of us were traveling on business and staying at a hotel in Eden Prairie. Well, it turned out that the hotels machines were temporarily out of service, which meant we had to take our clothes to a laundromat. I went online and found one at a place called Pilgrim Cleaners. When we went to the address with out clothes, I walked in and did not see a laundromat. When I asked the man behind the counter if they had a laundromat, he replied in an uppity tone "Laundromat?! We dont have a laundromat!" I remained polited nevertheless and asked if he could direct me to one, as we had a lot of laundry to do. His reply was "Laundromats?! There are no laundromats in Eden Prairie!" Unknown to me at that time, he had already made the decision that I was of inferior ilk, because when I asked him if they could handle doing a large amount of laundry themselves for my team, he snubbed me and offered help to a customer waiting behind me. A few weeks later, when my team was doing some work at a location, there was a Pilgrim Cleaners there in Eagan. When i popped in, I said to the woman there that I had a lot of various type so of laundry to do over the next few weeks, and asked for her prices, she replied "Oh, we dont give those out." When I asked "Then how would I know what you charge?" she replied "When you bring in the laundry, well tell you then". Now, I realize that some laundries dont have all their prices listed because they cant possible know everything in advance, but they usually have something, like the price of shirts and pants and other things. It always amazes me, as I travel around the United States with my team, that I will occassionally run across a snobby cleaners and wonder how does one become a snob in such an industry, and how does being rude to customers help business? Well, it doesnt, because now, as I travel, and I see a Pilgrim Cleaners, I wont bother to give them my business. A guy with a team with a lot of laundry needs, Lucas Maginot.

Purposely Permanently Marked Clothes The shirts I brought there got cleaned well enough, so they dont rate a one-star. But they did write "18" in permanent marker on the inside of a shirttail of every one of my shirts. They did so without even bringing it up on the front end. When I asked about it they reacted like I was strange for simply not wanting people that I took my shirts to for cleaning to refrain from marking on them permanently. You see, 18 is the number of their store, and how else would they know how to route the shirts? Im guessing since every dry cleaners Ive ever used has managed it, theres a way. To be fair, when I brought it up the lady at the counter did (after some hesitation) tell me that theyd simply tag the clothes with a paper ticket in the future. But, though she was polite about it, it was clear that she thought I was being a little unreasonable to ask for such a thing. I was frustrated that this was offered as a solution, as all of the shirts I brought in that day had already been marked. Putting tags on them doesnt unmark them maam. Look, its not the biggest deal in the world, but not everyone wears every shirt tucked in. Therefore, your "18" is frequently visible, particularly on WHITE shirts. So, I guess it is kind of a big deal to me. Maybe the rest of their customers dont think its a big deal, I dont know. But a cleaners who doesnt think its necessary to bring u p the fact that theyre going to permanently mark all your clothes isnt going to get any more of my business. Plenty of other cleaners out there. Id recommend using them.

Hate their customers. Treat me like I should feel privileged to be standing in their store. Permanently mark clothing items. Now I cant wear any shirts untucked because theyve written on them in permanent ink. Dont reliably turn around the clothes in the time promised. (Only reason I kept going was the need for 24 hour turn around). Ruin dry cleaning items like suits. Other than that theyve been wonderful.

Pilgrim Cleaners does not follow their word. I agreed with the driver, Joe (a very nice guy) for a 1 day turn around on pick up and delivery. We spend $300 to $400 a month on dry cleaning. This worked well for three to four months. Then one day a manager calls and just overturns my service level agreement. I am done with Pilgrim cleaners. Your customers come first. You seem to have forgotten that.

Always a positive experience! Everybody is friendly and very helpful! And fast! And, I like the email reminders that my order is ready with pricing. I moved to Chaska but continue to use the EP cleaners.

New to the area, came in with my Wife and we were quoted $17 when we dropped off our items. Was charged $27.50 at pick-up and told our coupon wouldnt work and quoted different rates for our shirts and pants.
