I cant even recall how long our family have been with Jim. Its saddening to see all the negativity on these reviews. Weve probably been with Jim for over 5-7 years. Him and his team have serviced over 6 of our vehicles and 3 of my friends from my recommendation. We use to go to a place up in Columbia Heights for work done to our cars but in this industry it seems there isnt a ton of transparency. Not with Jim, he calls me personally, tells me whats needing to be done, and I choose if I want to do it. Some times its out of budget but 100% of the time its done right! Weve had oil changes, new brakes, new exhaust, head lights etc. Give them a try, do something simple like a cheap oil change and have a conversation with Jim. Its tough to find a good local shop that you can trust. Those reading this remember its not the brand like MIDAS you should go to because theyre big, its the people there. Unlike dealerships that charge $70-$100 just to diagnose your car troubles. Our family has trusted Jim for many years and Ill keep recommending my friends to Jim!

Called at 4:30pm with a broken valve stem when it was -5 outside and they were happy to fit in quick before the end of the day. Of course its the entire TPS that is now disabled. They were kind enough to throw in a rubber stem to get by until Saturday when it was already scheduled for an oil change and rotation at which point theyll put the new TPS in. Free of charge I was sent on my way with a tire holding air to get me by until Saturday. I cant imagine that they had more than $20-30 into it to get me out the door, which I would have happily paid for the short notice. The fact that they did it and sent me out for free reminded me of years past when it was the "Good ol Boy" days and businesses would help a customer out if it was a small price to gain or maintain business by doing so. Love it! Will definitely keep coming here.

Brought my car in for rotors and pads. I pick my car up and the brakes are squeaking and grinding. I have no power when I start out in 1st 2nd and 3rd gear. My clutch seems to engage whenever it wants. I bring it back they say their tech put on the wrong pads....easiest thing to do on a car. They fit in like a puzzle piece. If it doesnt fit. Its the wrong one! Simple. Then they tell me I need a new clutch. Before I brought it there my clutch and everything else worked perfectly. I said dont touch my car again. Im coming to get it. Brought it somewhere else. Turns out one of these idiots also decided to remove the spring in my clutch. Needs a new clutch my ass. Theyre criminals! This is ongoing...NEVER EVER BRING YOUR VEhICLE TO THESE HORRIBLE PEOPLE!!

I have been here multiple times the past year. Generally I get an oil change from my dealership but they began charging over $38.00 before tax. Granted it came with a car wash and topped off all my other fluids, I just wanted an oil change. With a coupon I usually am able to get the appointments I need if I call ahead of time. Every time I have been here they get the service down quickly and the staff are always great. I believe with tax I paid about $24.00.

I went there with my 5 year old son and a flat tire. After waiting for him to come out of the office, I asked if someone could put some air in my tire to get home. I was then told he doesnt have air that goes outside, so I asked if I could pull it in and again was told no. I went to jiffy lube and they had no problem helping me.

Very poor attitude. I just wanted a rotor turned, they said they didnt want to do it, they were too busy and couldnt stay late, and that it would cost $30-$40 (as much as a new one costs). A shop down the street did it for $10, and had it done in two hours. What kind of place turns away business these days?

This places is ridiculous my husband made an apt at 10 they told him it was going to take an hour, here he calls at 2 they told him it wasnt done yet we go at 4:30 they havent even done nothing to it, at least they should say they were busy and couldnt done it, I DNT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!!!

Went in 1100.00 in exhaust work done and new tires was told i had road hazard just got a non repairable flat i was told it was not covered horrible after sale service was told they dont even offer road hazard service thats just wrong i will never take my cars there!

Terrible had $1,600.00 worth of break work done 1500 miles later Im back for warranty work leaking fluid and some unusual noises but apparently because I have a vw noises in the break system are "normal" I call bs. dont go here go somewhere ANYWHERE else
