Worst Service of 2017. I came here on a Friday morning for a 9:00am oil change I had scheduled over the phone earlier during the week. I was ignored by the staff and had to stop someone to let them know my name and that I was there for a scheduled appointment. The man abruptly looked the other way and mumbled that I could park behind another car (their lot is very small and all spots were full), so I did this and waited. I continued to wait for 15 minutes, and not a single person spoke to me or let me know anything about my wait time. It was never acknowledged that I had an appointment, which added to the confusion of having no direction upon arriving. I would have been a first time customer, having moved to Minnesota relatively recently and looking for a new auto shop, but after being ignored for so long I decided it was best to leave. The employees took no initiative to accept my business, and I left upset and a little confused. Not a very dignified experience. Will not be taking my business here again.

I really love this P Tune. I usually speak with Rob or Will when calling or checking in/out, so I dont know the mechanics but I feel I can trust them, because a few times in the past, Ive come in with my car and complained of funny noises. They diagnosed the issue, and then mentioned an additional issue they said was not necessary to fix right now but I should keep watch on it. I really appreciate that they dont try to influence me into getting things fixed that dont really need it at that time. I believe their strong reputation and thriving shop is due to their honesty with customers, and their refusal to do what many other shops do: try to generate as much business as possible with every car owner that comes in. My P Tune guys would never do that, and I recommend them highly whenever talking with anyone about car repair. Ive taken all my cars there for almost 10 years, and my mom even switched to P Tune once she saw what great maintenance/repair experiences Ive consistently had with them. They rock!!

I have been going to Precision Tune off France Avenue for over three years now. I feel very lucky to have found them. At other auto shops, I have had instances where unnecessary products and services were pushed on me. At Precision Tune off France, I have only found them to be extremely honest and helpful on whether or not a recommended service is REALLY necessary. I am able to do many small maintenance things myself, and they dont seem to mind when I say so. Rob, the manager, is a very kind man. He takes extremely good care of his customers. All the technicians there are very patient. Especially, when I go there with a specific noise in my engine that (of course!) we cannot reproduce while I am there...:) They always encourage me to come back when it does. I would not hesitate to recommend this store to anyone.

Positive experience from start to finish! Easy and open communication with both the owner, and Edina store manager. My beloved Subaru was due for a big 90k service and I was in the process of gathering estimates from local mechanics. Relatively new to the area and not yet established with a shop, I took notice of the online reviews. Im happy to share that my experience with Precision Tune was consistent with the reports of other customers who have posted here. Honest, friendly, and knowledgeable. This maintenance was a significant investment, not only financially, but also in the interest of promoting the life of my car. Im happy to have found Precision Tune... trustworthy and genuinely kind exchanges made this a refreshingly positive car care experience.

I love this shop! My dad is a mechanic and Ive heard A LOT of horror stories about dealerships and chains, but this Precision Tune is different. We always get great service and have never had problems with the repairs here. Rob, the manager, is always helpful--giving advice on the easiest or best way to handle a car problem, even if it means holding off on a costly and unnecessary fix that could get them a lot of money. The shop is run with integrity and honesty, unlike a lot of other car repair places. If I have to spend money on car repairs, I want to spend it here. I wont go anywhere else if I can help it.

I have never wanted to give my car mechanic money like I do at Precision Tune Auto in Edina! There have been so many little things that they have consulted or helped me out on free of charge. They are honest and never try to get me to do work on my car that isnt needed. Rob, the owner, always gives me detailed information about what they are fixing and why in a very non-judgmental way. Even though I moved away from this area, I will never go anywhere else!

Problem: car heater not working. Took car to midas in southdale. They gave me an 800 dollar quote with replacing radiator flush coolant etc. brought the car to precision tune just to hear these guys out. They have asked me to leave my car and that they would call me in 2 hrs. I got the call and eric from the shop told me that i was running low on coolant and that he topped it off. Zero dollars. I think they are "genuiner" than midas for sure!!!!

Highly recommended repair shop. This team will do whatever it takes to get to the bottom of your auto woes. They stick to their estimates to the penny - no surprises when you come to pick up your vehicle. Im happy to have a reliable shop so close to home. If youre a bit farther out, they have loaner vehicles (and bikes) - make sure to request when booking your service. Great magazine selection if you decide to wait for your vehicle!

Friendly helpful and honest staff that always go above and beyond to help with our repair needs. They turn difficult problems into real solutions and always go the extra mile without asking. Rob and Will are always willing to help answer questions and explain everything in terms even a "car dummy" like me can understand. I know that I am always in good hands when I come to the Edina PT and that I am not being ripped off.

The best place I have gone to so far. They were honest with me about my rat bitten wires on my 2001 Toyota Prius. They fixed it up quickly and well. They didnt overcharge me like the dealer was trying to. I am so happy to have found such a great place. I will continue to come back because I trust they will do as they say because they have proven it. I have been driving for 2 years now and I have no wiring problem.

Recommend by people in my neighborhood. I was sick of dealership service. At one time on my last Suburu the dearship had even put the wrong size oil filter on my car. So going to the dealer does not always mean quality. My neighbors on "next door" said Precision works well with Suburus. Manager very friendly. Service has been good. My 2 year old Suburu and myself have found a new home.

Could not be happier with this place. Cant say this about other car shops. Rob always does whats right, and takes care of his customers. From loaner cars, to same day service, to working to always find a way to get you the best deal - this place does it right. The only shop I go to for repairs. You can feel comfortable knowing that there is a shop out there that you can trust.
