Today I had to take my car in after finding out that my break lights werent working. This is only the 2nd time Ive been to a shop since the first time I ever went to a shop (located in St. Cloud) for a simple oil change I was quoted nearly $700 in repairs, I never did their recommended repairs and never had a problem until now, that was 5 years ago. The Victory Auto crew, mainly Jordan Matt and Brian Schauer made me feel very comfortable and very confident with the problems and solutions they were providing me. Brian was the main relay contact between the mechanic(s) working on my car and telling me what was going on. Each time he would speak to me he would go into great detail to demonstrate what was wrong and ended each conversation with my options for proceeding. Never felt pressured and didnt feel like he was inflating any prices or exaggerating any problems. I was given time to think about what I wanted to do without Brian trying to capitalize on my situation by trying to pressure me into doing things while I took my time to think. Thats very important to me and I bet most dont even realize that sales people do that. What gave me confidence was that before bringing my car in I did my own research on what was wrong and Brian’s report told me exactly what I had suspected and I never told him what I believed to be the issue. This to me shows great honesty, which is rare in auto shops. My issue was an electrical one, which are the worst kind since you have to spend so much time testing and checking all the wires. This was a job any dishonest shop could have run with in order to rack up labor costs. I fully believe Victory Auto treated me fair and didnt rack up labor time for the testing period. In the end I was able to bring my car in at 8a.m and drive it home same day. I opted to stay at the shop the whole time and was able to not only see how they operate but how they handled walk in customers and how they talked on the phones. I never once heard them speak bad about any customer, never complain and only heard sympathy from Jordan and Brian when they had to deliver the cost estimates for the repairs/services each customer needed. For me, I had a great experience and would/will recommend them to anyone I know.

Took my car there to get it diagnose. Prior to taking my car there, I asked the Manager how much it cost to get my car diagnose for a misfire. He said from a range $90-$130. I then took my car in to get it checkup. One of their findings, they found a loose intake bolt which they brought to my attention. All other info was about possible causes of misfires and suggestions what can be done. Hours later, I came by the shop and told them I wasnt planning to go forward in repairing the car. I picked up the car the next day and they charged me $139.99 which is more than what they told me. It came up to be $150 after tax. I told the reception guy the manager said it ranged from $90-$130. He then subtracted $13.95 from the original. I came home and did a quick inspection and found the intake bolt was still loose. Just because I rejected the repair, they couldnt even tighten that one bolt. In addition, I found a loose valve cover bolt way in the back of the engine. I didnt see that before and dont know what happened but Im sure they would have saw it and brought to my attention since it was on the same side of the engine as the loose intake bolt. A little sketchy. Their service was good overall. Giving it a 2 star only because of the things I mentioned.

We came in a few months back because our truck would start then not start. When they diagnosed the problem they found the starter diode was corroded and if it was cleaned it should work. After taking it home 2 days later we had the same problem. We took it back in and they were only going to charge us the additional $40 to now replace the part but no labor, which we were pleased with. While picking it up in conversation we mentioned its been a rough few weeks...deaths, cancer in the family etc., they were kind enough to not even charge us the $40 difference. We were skeptical of them in the beginning but they turned out to be amazing and not just because of the no charge. They got everything done in just a few hours so we could be using our vehicle again. They are a bit expensive but worth the money to get it done right. Nothing good comes cheap!

I was looking to purchase a car from a nearby Luther Auto dealer. I took the vehicle for a "Peace of Mind" comprehensive inspection, but due to a delay in getting the vehicle I was running late to my appointment. Calling Victory to let them know I would be late, they still managed to fit the inspection in and finish it in less than 45 minutes, saving me the time I lost with my tardiness. While the vehicle was in great shape, they did say the breaks would need replacing very soon and I should use that as a bargaining chip to reduce the price of the car. I further picked their brains about reliable or cheaply-repaired vehicles, which they gave me honest and useful information for free. I highly recommend them if you need a prospective vehicle inspected.

Worst experience EVER!! I took my car in there cause my drivers door window wouldnt roll up, and they ended up breaking a couple more parts. The switch to move my seat up&down... which worked perfectly b4 i brought the car in... didnt move up and down but still tilted and stuff after the checked it out. i had them look at it cause i figured it was something minor, but nooooooooo... they ended up breaking the whole thing and handed me everything IN A BAG. so basically, i spent $121.19 for them to break my car even further. OH he did however offer to fix it for an additional $200... -______- now i have to seat on a pillow to drive cause the seat is all the was back and all the way down.

Im always uncomfortable bring my car in to places for service. They seem to work hard trying to convince you more and more things need to be done beyond what you brought in for. Well, I brought my car to Victory Auto and they fixed what I expected and confirmed some of the things I thought needed to be done well just fine. Im sure some places would have taken the opportunity to pressure for more chargable work than needed. It was also a huge plus that they had a loaner car for me to use while work was being done. Ive been back again for other work and I will trust my car to Victory Auto.

I have used Victory Auto for many years now and have been absolutely delighted with the quality of service they provide at the Brooklyn Park Store. Brian and the rest of the staff are extremely helpful and are more than happy to discuss the service problem I might be experiencing or the solution to a problem that exists on my automobile. Only once was there a time I had a problem with a "fix" Victory Auto provided and it was cheerfully corrected within minutes my return visit. Thank you Brian and the entire staff at the Brooklyn Park Shop for your excellent service. Ill be back!!
