Called around 12:30on today to see about how much it would cost to have a power steering hose replaced. The guy who answered said theyd have to look at it to know for sure (which I figured) and said I could bring it in at 3 and its take 5 mins or so to look at. I figured it would take longer then that but made the appointment. I arrived at 3 and the man at the desk said I wasnt on the schedule. He asked if I was planning on leaving it, because it would take at least an hour. I told him what the first guy had said and he literally laughed and told me no one there would ever say something like that. He said I would have to drop the vehicle off and I would have to come back. The vehicle does not have power steering, this isnt a problem that can wait so I made an appointment for the next day in case I couldnt find something else. There is a sign outside with their phone number on it. I looked at my phone log and that same number on the sign is the only one in my phone log. Mistakes happen, I get it. But I am not an idiot, I know what I was told. The guy at the counter was so condescending about the situation, and thats the only reason I decided to even leave a review. I did cancel the appointment after I knew for sure that I had spoke to someone there earlier. If the guy had said "oh Im sorry if someone told you that, its not correct, but this is what we can do for you ect ect" then I wouldnt be so upset about it. He could use a refresher on customer service and everyone answering pnomes should be on the same page.

This place charges you up the butt with hidden charges and fees. I came in for an oil change and to replace the O2 sensor. I had the part and just needed it replaced. He quoted me $30 to replace the sensor, which seemed fair since it is only a 10 minute job. And I had a coupon for a 20 dollar oil change. So I figure 50 dollars plus tax not so bad. I get the bill and it is double that. The guy behind the counter then goes into a story about how my vehicle has a different engine type. So he charged me 60 dollars for a 10 minute job. Then starts to tell me about other fees associated with the oil change and topping off my fluids. So I end up getting charged nearly double what I was quoted. RIP OFF!

I have a 01 PT Cruiser that was having some issues. When I took my vehicle in, the guys checked it completely out and confirmed what my guesses were. They fixed everything in ~ 1 day (which was pretty fast for all that was wrong) and they had really great communication with through the process. When I went to pick up my car, they told me that they found I had a bad hose. Because they happened to have one on hand, they threw it on for no extra cost! This is why I will never take my car anywhere else. They earned my business for life. Big thanks to Todd Schomburg for hooking me up!!

Just got back thinking I would be spending $1400.00 Instead I got honest service, an oil change,and a bunch of little things fixed ( trunk, nail in the tire and something with the wheel) all for $92 bucks! I started coming here when they did my brakes for almost half of what two other places gave me a bid for. I know if I went somewhere else I would have been taken for at least a grand for something I really didnt need. I would recommend them to anyone.

Home Town auto is a terrific place to have my car and my daughters car serviced. The team is friendly, very knowledgeable and caring. Tim takes great care of his customers and they are not pushy. I trust their work and suggestions for items that need repair later on and the pricing is better than where I have gone in the past. I stopped in the afternoon to see when they could do my brakes, and they got them done the same day! They even had a loaner car for me to use. They called me when they figured out just what I needed and what I didnt need and gave me the price over the phone. Very nice people to work with. Super friend.y staff and very informative. They let you know whats best and are not salesy or pushy at all. Definitely worth the drive from Eagan.
