I recently had a radiator installed on my vehicle on March 24, 2017. Ive used UCC in the past for several repairs (strut, alignment, etc.) and oil changes and the jobs they did were fantastic. However, the most recent job (radiator) was not up to standards especially when the total bill for parts/labor came up little over $500+ after using their $50 off $500 coupon. Im not a mechanic but know my way around my cars and sometimes do my own repairs even if it takes an entire weekend. I always make sure I do the job properly and anyone would hope this idea is standard practice from a professional repair shop. First, the mechanic did not add enough coolant or bleed my radiator to remove air. I did not notice this until I was already on my way home. The car immediately was registering high temps and started overheating. Luckily I dont live too far and was able to make it home safely without causing further damage to the engine or head gaskets. When I opened the hood, the top radiator hose was compressed because the radiator was not properly bled. I ended up adding about another bottle of coolant and burping the system to help the engine get back down to operating temp. Secondly, the mechanic broke the clip holding the hose mentioned above. It was swaying back and forth inches from the serpentine belt, if I had not seen this there was a probability it may have rubbed against the S-belt and potentially caused further damage. I was able to zip-tie the hose in place. Overall, I would say quality of this job was not typical of past experiences. My advice would be to check your car immediately after repair service to ensure the repairs were done properly. I made the mistake of having the peace of mind to drive off their lot without double-checking before noticing the engine was overheating. Be diligent and double-check yourself if youre not sure of workmanship.

Basic came in from footh autos. For a water pump replacement. Dropped car off at 248pm and place was closing at 630pm I was giving same day service but a 3hr window I was okay with it. However I went to eat with my family at Applebees was in there till 4pm looked at the shop my car wasnt moved so I walked down simply to asked because of my guaranteed same day service why my car was not in yet I was told other cars was ahead of me I was okay with that but asked if it still be done by 630pm I was told yes and simply said okay thank you and walked away I was not yet outside and my dealership calls saying I was rude and and yelling at the staff and was told my car was not going to be served. Long story short I was not rude or yelling simply said okay and thank you and the owner lied to the dealership I was simply asking because I lived 25mi away and had no other way home so I was stuck till car was repaired. Im very upset by the owners lies about me I advise people who visit here and your car most stay to simply be aware of the drama with this place first and more likely last visit and owner will have her dogs in lobby I even told her nice looking dog but she most not have liked that to make a lie to the dealership. I even cleaned up her waiting area before leaving due to it being dirty from other people. Yet still felt like I was treated unfairly here be aware folks just because they smile in your face does not mean they treat you with respect

When we first started coming here after this location opened, we had a good run and were very pleased with the service. As time went on, the attitude the front desk technicians exhibited went downhill. I dont know if we will return after the way I was treated last time. We brought in my 2006 Chrysler Pacifica because it is was shifting hard. When I picked up the car, the tech at the desk told me that I was very lucky that they spent the time to investigate, and found that they could reprogram the transmission rather than replace it - being that I was a woman, most places would have just told me it had to be replaced. Excuse me...but what does me being a woman have to do with it? And to be told that I was lucky? I shouldnt have to be lucky, I should just be able to be confidant that they have done everything possible to ensure that they have made the correct diagnosis of the problem, and have recommended the best solution.

Went here first for a transmission flush since it was $30 cheaper. The front desk girl is a little rude, however when we left a man checked us out who was very nice. My vehicle ended up losing power about a month after so I brought it back to this location where they charged me $110 diagnostic check they replaced a catalytic converter and reassured me it was working with in twelve hours the light came back on for the same problem, then they told me it was a different part after fixing that, for the third time my vehicle has the same issue with in 12 hours. How can they not figure out the problem when Ive paid so much for them to check the vehicle.Im very disappointed Ive wasted so much money here for mechanics that can not fix my vehicle. I will no longer go here,I will spend a little more money to actually get the problem fixed.Very disappointed.

This place will rip you off extremely bad. They take advantage of women, and their receptionist should not be allowed to communicate to customers, she should be released from her position. Theyre services are half assed, and charged for twice what its worth. This place had to change name and locations in the 90s due to how bad they were scamming people and almost shut down by the MN attorney general. Ill continuously post these reviews until these reviews are noticed again by the BBB and the MN attorney general so they can no longer ruin peoples vehicles, eventually they will charge someone for doing something that they did not do and that vehicle will get into a car accident. Avoid this place like the plague.

Keep up the great work you guys! There is a reason why I drive from Anoka all the way across the Twin Cities to come there and pass up easily 200 other places on the way... Number one is the honesty and customer service you provide hands-down is the best I have ever experienced out of a repair shop pricing is always competitive the work performed is always done right the first time and that is the reason I send friends and family from my neck of the woods down to you guys. I read some other reviews and I honestly cant believe some of them saying how people are rude and things like that which is so very far from the truth! Keep doing what you guys do and dont change a thing!

Replaced my tie rods and took the old truck to Ultimate for a front end alignment. While waiting, I snacked on some complimentary popcorn and juice. I also watched some TV and kept up with my school work using their guest wifi. The whole thing took about 45 minutes. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. No contest, it was the best price in the area.(I called several places) We took the truck to Michigan over the 4th, and it went down the road straight as an arrow. Thank you, guys. Ill be back if I ever need your services again.
