Although they didnt have my brand of cigarettes, the attendant help me find ones that I could try and they were good. He listened to my joke and was very nice. My daughter wont go there because they did a brake job on her car and failed to tighten the bolts so her tire came off while driving. Then didnt want to accept responsiblity for it or repair her car. Lucky she wasnt killed or my granddaughter. I still go there but wouldnt let them do a front end alinment on my car because of this and another guy told me that his tire also came off after he had work done on his car. I liked them and hoped that whoever was not tightening the bolts got fired. I think they must of because this was a couple of years ago and Martin said they did a great job on his car and gave the a A plus.

Recently had my car break down by their place, so I called them up for a tow. They were very friendly, and quick to pick up. Cheap tow rates. Very knowledgeable staff that was capable of providing me the necessary information that I needed to do the repair myself. Fair and modest prices, quote for parts were expensive (but it was expected for my car) they didnt pressure me on anything. I ended up doing the repair they recommended myself, and everything worked great- spot on diagnosis (~1hour labor). Would definitely recommend for anyone.

I use Mendota Heights Auto Service for most of my auto repairs that I cannot do myself. They have taken care of my cars for the past 20 years, from my 94 Toyota Wagon to my 2013 Honda. They are very good at what they do. They diagnose car problems correctly, they call before they work on anything that wasnt discussed beforehand, and their prices are very reasonable. Seriously amazing customer service. I have taken two different cars here several times, and every time they are extremely honest with me. As a young female who knows nothing about cars, I am used to auto shops charging me for things I didnt need, or lying about problems that dont exist just to get my money from me. Every time I take it in I leave spending much less money than I have at other shops for similar issues. Thanks guys!

Doug provided a quick diagnosis, called me up to explain the situation, made the repair and I was on my way the same day for much less cost than I expected. He knows what he is doing to figure out this problem so quickly. He was also kind enough to talk to me about this car/engine after the repair was completed. I want there for an oil change a few weeks ago. They have reasonable prices. Dropped my car off around 10am and they had it back to me in no time. They were very kind and courteous. They told me about things I needed to have done to the car eventually but did not try to push me to have it done right away. I defiantly will be back again.
