I first tried BANGbang because I met Ashley, found her to be a beautiful, kind, caring person, and decided I wanted to support a fellow entrepreneur. I live in Plymouth, which is some distance away, so I thought I would go there once, but decided it would have to be over-the-top-fabulous to justify returning there on a regular basis. The results were a dream come true for me. I am not exaggerating. The cut I get from Ashley looks and works great every single day - I swear I have not had a single "bad hair day" since I started going to BANGbang. This had never been the case with any other haircut, style, or color that I have had in the previous 60 years. The color is exactly what I ask for and picture in my mind - but with enhancing details that only a true artist (like Ashley) will think of and suggest - then execute flawlessly. She also knows how to give me a great scalp massage when washing my hair. Which, of course, feels so comfy because of the recliners-with-footrest chairs, and the topper - the warm towel cradling my neck on the edge of the sink. Aaahhh.... All that would be enough to get me to return, but theres more. McCall does the best job ever on waxing my eyebrows. The shape is natural but tailored and symmetrical. That may sound easy enough to do, but, trust me, evidently it is not. She also knows the perfect temperature for the wax. No skin irritation nor "sunburn" around each brow - just loveliness. The wonderful people who work the front desk and answer the phone are always friendly, professional, and accommodating. They truly make me feel at home. Never cranky. Never an "attitude." The beautiful, open, light-filled space is such a joy to visit. It is nourishing for all my senses to view the wonderful art, jewelry, fresh colors, smell clean scents of the natural products, and listen to the happy music and murmurs of conversation. BANGbang pays attention to every detail, yet in a relaxed, comfy way. Worth every penny and the 30 min. drive each way!

The first thing you notice when you walk in is how stylish and fun the place initially looks. Then when you actually talk to the front desk and look around, you see that the entire atmosphere is stylish and fun from the sitting area to the gorgeous ladies that work there. It is a place you want to be even when you arent getting your hair done. And when you do, you can count on your stylist to make sure you leave with exactly what you asked for, but even better than you had imagined. I have seen a few of the stylists and I was taken care of with a glass of wine, a scalp massage, a careful wax, a vibrant cut and color, and beyond entertaining conversation. I continue to recommend BANGbang to all male and female friends, young and old.

very well kept, low key salon with at least one, because I have only been there once, top quality hair care professional. I had a demi permanent color and a haircut with McCall. I am naturally dark haired and going grey. She picked the perfect color, and the cut (bob) was one of the best I have ever had. I have lived in the Twin Cities for my entire life, it is littered with salons and spas, but so many are very disappointing for various reasons. I am very happy to have located a stylist I can count on for great results!

I love this salon and all the wonderful people who work here. McCall is a special talent who never failed to give me a marvelous cut and color. She really goes above and beyond to make her clients feel special and I couldnt recommend her enough! I was always able to find parking nearby on the residential streets.
