A 45 minute wait for a hair cut!!!! RIDICULOUS! There were only 3 staff there and for some reason I got checked in as getting a wax so when I said no I wanted a hair cut the girl told me that she didnt have time to do a hair cut so I waited longer until another girl finished who happened to be cutting a customers hair that had come back because his cut was uneven. This should have been my cue to leave. So I get in the chair and I pull up a picture of a medium length inverted bob haircut. The shortest layer in the back would have touch the back of my neck. Well my lady is just starts jabbering on and on and she keeps on cutting and cutting the back of my hair and at this point I think she must of forgotten what she was doing because it she chopped my hair all up in the back and left 2 uneven chunks of hair in the front of my face. I dont even want to call them to say how unhappy I am because I will never ever go back there again!!! On top of it all the girl who said she didnt have time to do my hair cut was still there when I left doing nothing but cleaning up the magazine table.

This was my first visit at a Fantastic Sams and it was not pleasant at all. The person who greeted me was very friendly and welcoming, but when I was seated to get my eye brows waxed the young girl helping me had a very agitated expression on her face. I could tell right away she was in a bad mood. She waxed the upper and lower sections of my eyebrows so quickly and did not pluck anything afterwards. No cooling gel was applied and when I looked in the mirror I could see NO difference what so ever. I was so disappointed and I just wanted to leave. I would avoid this location if you are seeking this service! I will say the location in Savage is pretty good! They waxed my eyebrows after this incident and they looked awesome :)

I came in worried about my hair when looking at some of these scathing reviews, only to be calmed with my worries with a fantastic haircut. I have curly hair, and was worried when someone who didnt have my hair was cutting it. I never get hair cuts the last time i did was not here and was about two years ago when i wanted an inch or two, maybe even three inches and so the lady took an inch off when it was wet. Now this may not seem like that much of a difference but 1 inch wet = 3 inches dry. Devyn did a fantastic job understanding my hair and I told her how much I wanted off and we talked it over and I left happier than I came. Also Monique did a fantastic job on my coloring just a week before.

I love my new style Kat gave me! I have had my hair taken care of by both Kat and Sonya in the past few years at Fantastic Sams off Cliff Rd in Eagan. Kat is very detail orientated, listens and then executes what she was told well. She also has creative solutions! Kat showed me a whole new style and how to use the right products that is helping me to get the results I want. Kat is also fun, fun, fun to chat with. Sonya has a ton of personality & Ive always left happy with my cut, style and experience. Thank you ladies for always making me feel confident about my hairstyle and for making me look goooooood!! Worst experience ever,.. called to make appointment, got double booked, was told wait 5 minutes,.. I waited 45, got continually skipped, girls in the back, needless to say I left, no trim, no wax,. ... never going back... Oh, and to top it off, everyone chewing gym.... so unprofessional! Not only do you look like a cow, but what would they do if the gym fell in someones hair?.. I would have been written up when I used to do hair for that.... 1 star is being generous.... who the f runs that place..... #pissed!!!

Horrible. I havent cried over a haircut in 25 years so its been awhile. I went in for a simple cut, one Ive had over and over for years. She put layers in, I told her not to. I tokd her my hair is fine. She thinned out my ALREADY thin hair so much, I look like my hair is falling out from illness. This is THE worst cut I have ever had in my life. There are pieces that differ in length by 2 inches that are right next to one another. If I could show a negative star, i would.

If i could give negative stars I would. This salon ruined my life for the forseeable future. I went in for a cut (I had a cute Pixie), and left with my head shaved. Yes, I said SHAVED. I am a 46 year old graduate student and I am completely mystified as to why ANY stylist would do this. I am considering litigation at this point, but in the mean time, heed my warning and spend the extra money to go anywhere other than this butcher shop.

I went into Fantastic Sams looking like a strung out roadie. I left looking like the cover of GQ. Monique made me look so sexy, I had strangers propositioning me on the way home. Impressive, considering I was driving on the freeway. People were motioning for me to roll down my window. I thought these people were gonna ask me for some Grey Poupon but, no, they wanted the D. Thats how good my haircut was. Thanks, Monique!

I dont know why I keep coming here. Maybe cause its close to my house, but as of today, I will NEVER go there again. Every time I go there, its over a 45 minute wait & its not even busy, lack of staffing & lack of communication of wait time. I waited over an hour & when my daughter had use the restroom, my spot was taken!

2nd time waited 45 min then I said screw it and left. 2 staff and 2 old ladys getting there hair colored. I have an idea have one person take care of the color and put the other on the non time consuming haircuts. Will not go here again

i give it a 2.5/5 my hair is ok but she kept leaving and walking off and when she wash my hair it was more like she was trying to cave my skull in and you could tell that she was not happy.

I usually have a good experience here. Dont usually have to wait too long either. Nice wash. I will never get my eyebrows waxed again - they ripped off half my eyebrow on one side!

Sherri is amazing. I keep returning. I suggest go hours when they are less busy. Good place, sometimes long waits because of they are good.
