My wife brought her car in to get the alternator checked. They tested it and said it needed replacing. Service was fine up to this point. She was given an estimate for $900 stating it would take 4-6 hours. This didnt seem right, the alternator was relatively accessible, so I checked into doing it myself. Ended up costing me $170 for the part and took all of 1.5 hours. This included troubleshooting. Needless to say as someone that has never worked on an alternator before shouldnt be able to beat a "pros" estimated time by 2.5-4.5 hours. I wouldnt trust them with any car repair. Its a shame since we live so close.

My truck needed a new Catalytic converter and they quoted me $450 out the door price. I ask how much the converter alone cost. Guy said $350. I ask if thats a universal or a direct factory fit. He said its universal. I walked out and went straight to an auto parts store and bought a universal converter for $72 brand new. Had a $30 off coupon and paid only $42+tax for a brand new converter. Sorry Im not the next person for CarX to rip off. I saved myself $300 for buying the same part CarX sell their customer. Paying a different shop to weld.

My wife and I have used this car ask for about eight years. Tony has always been honest and upfront with us. Most recently, we had a radiator fail that was within warranty. Officially, the cost of labor was not part of the warranty. Tony agreed to comp the labor to replace the radiator at no cost to us. He certainly wasnt obligated to make that decision, but we appreciate his willingness to work with a long-time customer

Ive had my oil changed there a couple of times, and each time has been pleasant and professional. They are quick and courteous; I never have to wait too long. I have an older car with a multitude of issues that Im not too concerned about. However, they do a nice job of identifying the various problems and letting me know the cost of the repairs should I want to fix the car.

They really are excellent in what they do. Having found a good, honest, reliable, and economical place to take my car, I have found no need to go anyplace else.

My wife was quoted 600 for a fuel pump and be completed same day. Actual cost $987.00!!!! When I asked what was the reason for the difference I was told they could do it for $700 if I waited about 3 days for an after market pump? NICE Original quote $600 same day service actually BS
