I was looking for an autoshop that I could give buisiness to for years for both my and my GFs car. I landed at Dunrite and had several minor jobs done there without issue. I finally got something a bit more difficult (tire warning light was on). At the same time I also decided to get some new tires put on and brakes redone. When I got my car back the light was off so I thought things were good. That lasted for 2 days and the light came back on. I called them up again and asked them to check it out again (as the light was my primary concern). I got the car back, they said they just cleared out the computer "again" and the light was off. The light came back on again after another 3 days. Called them back and they said they had to order in some machine from the dealer to find out more. They seemed very put off that I would insist on having this issue fixed. The brakes on my car also sound scratchy. I am not a mechanic, but it sounds/feels like my brakes grind when stopping from a decent speed. Also one of my tires will not hold pressure and deflates after a week or so. I feel like I got substandard service and was not treated as I should have been. I have since decided to find another shop I can use for all of my vehicles.

My Dunrite experience was Done Right! I called and was allowed to bring my vehicle in the next morning. Dunrite staff were extremely accommodating and went through all the potential reasons for my heating not working as well as the potential repairs and repair costs. Just a couple hours after dropping off my vehicle, I was contacted with a explanation of the problem and a rough estimate of the costs for my repair. The repair/equipment cost to labor charge was quite high, but I expect that from any car repair shop. If I had to state any issue, that would be it as the necessary equipment for repair was less than $20, but the labor was nearly 5x as much. I would recommend Dunrite to anyone in the local or extended St. Louis Park/Uptown area as they were accommodating, speedy and my experience was great!

My car is a 2003 Mazda, at this is 2013 so it is in the phase where it needs a little help a few times a year. I have brought it in three times to Dunrite over the last 1.5 years and the gentlemen running the place are professional, courteous, and provide the service that I expect from any professional repair shop. The estimates are solid and the repairs are on time and have not failed. Even though they appear very busy and their lot is full of repairs each visit, they get me in within a day for the repair. I know nothing of the repair business, but as far as the prices: they seem fair and Ive never had sticker shock at the estimates. Id recommend them without hesitation.

I have a 76 Corvette Stingray which needed some major work. After picking up my car, I had no idea the vette could run and sound so awesome. Dunrite has been in the neighborhood for a really long time. If they did shoddy work, they wouldnt still be there. I felt my car was really taken care of and they were able to quickly and accurately fix the problems. The prices were very reasonable and I know that I will be back. Would I trust them with all my cars?- Most Definitely. Will I refer them? Absolutely!

I trust their technicians. The prices are competitive. I feel I have a place I can trust and bring my vehicle in to be serviced and know I am not going to be shistered. It is not always easy to find a mechanic who you can trust. I trust Phil and Dunrite.

GREAT SHOP. This is the first google review I have written, but I felt it was necessary as the previous two reviews for Dunrite did not reflect my experience at all. Phil was great to work with. The prices were fair and I was able to get in quickly and my car was finished promptly. I had absolutely nothing but positive interactions at Dunrite and plan to return there for future maintenance and repair needs.

Excellent service, they fixed the issue I was having with the check engine light, explained everything they did, gave me a detailed invoice for my records, called me immediately when my car was finished and replaced my sway bar links for a very competitive price. I will also always appreciate businesses more when I can directly speak with the owner at the front desk.

All of the issues I asked them to fix were addressed by the end of the day for the price I was told. I will be using this shop for the foreseeable future.

I was headed out of town on short notice and needed a quick oil change for my car. I called Dunrite and they said come on over. They took my car immediately and promptly changed the oil. They also noticed my tires needed rotation, so I had that done too. I was in and out fast. I appreciate the efficiency!
