I was extremely dissatisfied and I wont be going back. Gave 2 stars because the front desk staff is very nice and clean place. First off most places tell you to take your clothes off and they come in afterwards and at the end they leave while you get dressed, not here; its a small room and you sit and un/redress while the person is awkwardly standing there. I have gotten waxes for years 1st time with hard wax and it was terrible to me or both techs I had were not experienced and didnt know how to use it because it seemed like the technicians lost grip of the wax multiple times which made the removal slow and painful because she had to stop multiple times just to get the wax off. I ended up having to go back the next day because the 1st tech didnt get all the hair off of my legs and there was a misunderstanding about whats included in the Brazilian wax and I was in there for about an hour and a half. I feel like if you are paying they need make sure all hair is gone. I went back and all the hair still isnt gone. I also bought their skin care products which are nice but I will be going to the refinery for next wax and after I have my baby I will be going back to all laser hair removal more cost effective, no hair bumps, lasts longer and less painful.

First Time Brazilian! I was pretty impressed with how much it didnt hurt, i was terrified to be honest but was definitely pleasantly surprised there. So happy in fact that i decided to invest in one of their packages for a years worth of the same service. The esthetician who did my wax was nice and informative. The room wasnt like any you would see in a day spa, paper on table, bright fluorescent lighting..but the price was right so i can get over that. Only problem i have is that a few days later, a good portion of what i had waxed is growing back, so it seems that more was broken off than waxed off. Thats disappointing and definitely something to consider when they are selling you their first time visit packages...you havent really had the opportunity to see the results after a few days. Something to keep in mind

FIRST BRAZILIAN WAX! For sure I was afraid of this type of waxing and most definitely afraid of letting someone other than my boyfriend or OB-GYN looking at my womanness. I was able to get over my fears and take a chance. Jenny my esthetician was AMAZING!!! She was very professional and made me super relaxed in the very upscale establishment. The waxing was not what I was expecting, it was great, not as painful and GREAT results. I am for sure going back again. For those that say the hairs are broken off not waxed.....thats because you were tensed instead of relaxed during the waxing. You have to been relaxed for the product to work down to the folacles and also you have to exfoliate AFTER your waxing. Thanks Jenny Ill be back after Miami!!!

Ive been going to European Wax Center for over 4 years now, but Ive been primarily going to the Calhoun location the last 2 years. Ive been waxed by three different women, all of whom did a fantastic job in their own ways. Urszula is the woman to go to if you want a quick and efficient wax. Amanda is great at putting you at ease and chatting with you during your wax. Lastly, Michelle is also great at keeping you calm and conversational, but she goes the extra mile to assess all your waxing needs. I cannot stress enough how great they all are.

Katherine was an awesome waxer! She did my eyebrows so well my friends asked me where I went! The Brazilian was painless and we talked about her dogs the entire time, shes great at her job and makes the process not awkward. I rescheduled with her and the front desk staff are very professional and helpful both over the phone and in person. I also really like the products I left with, I couldnt decide so I purchased all 3 recommended by Katherine and I am in love with every single one of them!

I came in for an appointment and the wax specialist I had an appointment with couldnt come to work so I was told that I had to reschedule. I got upset and the receptionist then asked another wax specialist to squeeze me in and they did. I felt bad I got upset but they remedied the situation very quickly. Thank you for squeezing me in before vacation and please next time if my wax specialist cant make it give me a call, thanks! Also Ursala is a great wax specialist! :)

One star person (MB) must be a competitor. This place is the best I have ever had wax me. Painless and does not just break off hairs. Clean and efficient place, professional and well-trained staff. I would give more stars if they had them here. I was amazed at the price for such quality. About half what I usually pay for the services and much, much better. [A year later and I am still a 5 star fan!!! I will never go back to "hard wax"]

Ive been coming to this location for about 2 years now and my appointments are always a highlight of my day. Waxing used to make me nervous as I have a low pain tolerance, but my waxer, Kristin, always has a calm and welcoming presence about her that makes the process easy and comfortable for me! Great location, fun and friendly staff, so glad I found Kristin and have been able to stick with her!

Ive been coming here to see Michelle for a few months now and everything has been great. Before coming here, Ive done waxing before but coming here was a total different experience. Michelle is very knowledgeable and taught me the differences in waxing and hair growth. The entire staff is very nice and makes you feel welcome. I HIGHLY recommend Michelle to anyone and everyone!

From her incredibly neat, organized and CLEAN work station, to her professional demenour and ability to perform a comfortable wax at speeds unrivaled, it was a 5 star experience from start to finish. She explained everything, including how their wax differed from traditional waxes, and really put my mind at ease.
