I purchased a LivingSocial deal for microdermabrasion, after having some great sessions at another place. The other skin spa spends an hour with you, of which the atmosphere is much like getting a massage; undress and wrap yourself up in a fluffy white bathrobe then relax in a dimly lit room with incense and relaxing sounds of nature while the technician works FOR AN HOUR on you. Tonight I was in and out within 30 min; no fluffy bathrobe, sterile bright lights blazing overhead, and about 15 min spent on the actual procedure which did include relaxing sounds of nature in the background but were difficult to hear over the constant talking the tech did. It was harsh (ok, its not the most soft/gentle kind of skin treatment) and at one point as my eyes watered she asked if I needed a tissue and then didnt have any in the room and handed me a cotton pad. I was SO let down. I still tipped (1/2 what I normally would) and purchased some eye cream - but I WILL NOT GO BACK. I got what I paid for I guess - not a full treatment, the value was definitely half priced.

Lousy service; my email to them: Hi folks, I am ready to call the Better Business Bureau if my phone calls are not returned by tomorrow. I used a groupon for 3 large area laser hair removal. For the 2nd appointment, I got a call saying the technician was sick-AS I REACHED the Mendota Heights location. After that, I was told the technicians mother was sick so I had to cancel that. The 3rd time I showed up for my appointment, stayed in the parking lot outside your store, waited 30 mins, but NOBODY appeared. What is the solution now? Please respond within 24 hours. This is the crappiest way to run a business. Who is the owner of this business?

Although I havent had any procedures done yet, I am very impressed with Sedona Spa. I had a groupon to redeem for laser hair removal, but since scheduling my appointments months ago I have found out I am pregnant. I spoke to a very helpful and friendly receptionist who informed me that you cannot have this procedure while pregnant. She was happy to honor my groupon after I have the baby even though it will have expired by that time. I was very impressed that she was willing to honor the groupon without trouble. I was expecting to hear that it was just too bad. Great way to keep customers! Cant wait to try it out!

Ive been to Sedona for two microdermabrasion sessions and I dont know why I havent been doing this my entire life! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and through their tips and suggestions my skin has never looked better. Thank you, Sedona Skin Spa!
