Used to be a member here, but one of my favorite massage therapist left and was out on her own. The remaining therapists that I did like were super hard to get in to see because many of their therapists are sub-par. After seeing my favorite therapist in private for a year and a half, I thought Id give Massage Envy Edina another chance after that time had passed. Well, seems things have not changed. I would not go to just any therapist here, get referrals from your friends before you go and request an appointment with them. I was placed with Cheryl, and lets just say this was the worst session of my life. It felt like when my grandma used to put lotion on my skin after my bath. I indicated deep tissue on my information card, and this was overlooked. She asked me twice if I was "okay". I said ok and fine as my responses. I should have said awful or given her suggestions but I was grouchy. It was like she was on a muscular scavenger hunt. It didnt seem like she was too new because she new my therapist from two years ago. She didnt seem to know muscle junctures well and seemed to just sort of poke at my tissue. I had two areas specifically I indicated needed some work- she totally avoided them. The lights in my room hummed because the dimmer switch is bad. So done with this location. They just cant get it together.

First of all, 60 minute massage is misleading - it is only 50 minutes, with 10 minutes of "consulting". It doesnt take 10 minutes for me to say "deep-tissue please". Second, their cancellation policy affords the company more money than if you show up. I do take responsibility for missing one appointment (it would be nice if they wouldnt have missed their reminder call), but I was surprised to see the monthly fee that includes a one hour massage PLUS an extra $45 for the missed appointment. The point is that the monthly fee includes an hour-massage, but if you miss it they tack on another fee for the missed charged, effectively double-charging you. Oh and guess what? I used two different cards during different visits, and apparently they keep it on file without asking!!!!!!! The two charges came from 2 different accounts. I plan on cancelling after my membership is over, and in the meantime Ill get my monthly massage and the therapist will get $0 in tip until I recoup my $45. And you can bet your a** I will get documents from them when I cancel to prove I did indeed cancel.

I signed up for a year long membershp and though they have some very skilled massage therapists, I consistently got short-changed on the so-called 60 and 90 minute massages by 15-20 minutes! One of the therapists told me that they all hang out in the breakroom, and that he couldnt believe how they would keep the customers waiting. After 11 months of membership, I called to inquire about putting my membership on hold while I traveled abroad. The person I talked to said she would take care of it and/or get back to me if there was a problem with doing that. Turns out, she never did either, and when I returned from the mission, I found that they had already sent my bill for collections (something I have NEVER experienced before), and would not even give me the massages once they were paid for unless I signed up for another six months! Terrible customer service! Though I enjoy frequent massages, I will never set foot in there again and, of course, I will tell a lot of friends about my experience.

I had been treated very poorly at Burnsville, Apple Valley, and Eagan. They have different owners and completely lack any sense of customer service and their massages short you 15+ minutes every time, but the poor management wont do anything about it but make customer feel stupid for claim the massage went over to compensate when it really didnt. Edina was a breath of fresh air because the staff was very friendly and they seemed to actually care about my experience. I was so impressed I cancelled my membership coming out of Burnsville and changed it to Edina. Run and hide from all Massage Envy south of the river, this one is much better.

Totally a rip off. Terrible business. They literally lied to sell their product and did nothing to remedy that. Selling based off lies will only get them so much business. In addition, they have terrible customer service, which after lying about how their product works (or having employees so uninformed that they lie unintentionally?) they HUNG UP on me instead of trying to make it work. I rarely hope bad for an organization, but for this sleazy company - I hope they go out of business. And, to top it off, worst massage I have EVER had!! Do NOT go here. There are plenty of other reputable companies and therapists to support.

I went to their Edina office and the girl named meghan never told me about the cancellation policy. She never told me I will be double-charged for missing an appointment. She never told me to give her permission to keep my card on file. She was too busy talking with another girl there. I asked for a manager(Sonia) and all she did was give a list of excuses. The only good thing is my masseuse was really nice lady. I plan to contact the District Attorney regarding consumer protection, Better Business Bureau, post my experience on any website that will let others know about my experience, and never go back to a Massage Envy ever again.

The experience itself was just fine, nothing exceptional or terrible. But when I went to return some unopened product 6 days after I had my facial, it was a mind-screw. After 4 attempts on my part, miscommunication and bad information on their part, the spa director NIKKI TOLZMANN had to get involved. That didnt help since her email communication was rather curt. I have read the reviews and unfortunately I would have to agree that this location needs some customer service training. I will never go back, and I certainly wont be shy about sharing my experience. Bottom Line: Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Terrible Customer service! I made time out of my day to go into Massage Envy in Bloomington just to get turned down for a facial not knowing they wouldnt do it if a minor surgery was performed months before. Total waste of my time and was treated rather rudely by the office manager Ashley. What happened to the customer is always right! Had two massages after surgery without incident but no to the facial. This is a completely unreasonable rule and a waste of my time. Moral of the story: Do not tell them anything or you may be sent away too!!

While my massage therapist was awesome, the management at this location is incredible unprofessional and unhelpful. Screwed up appointment times, then charged me for not showing up, couldnt get appointments scheduled to fit my work schedule. Suspended my membership indefinitely with ten pre-paid massages on my account, then six months later, they charge my card on file AGAIN!! Dont ever get sucked into joining, you wont be able to use the services you paid for, and then you cant cancel your account.
