Curtis is the most famous hair stylist that I know in Minnesota, this guy did work with a lot of celebrity. Always did an incredible job on my hair for the last 22 years. I never showed him a picture of what I wanted (and have been dreaming of for quite a while) he walked me through getting the perfect combo... he then became a scientist and NAILED IT!! I just moved to the area and was searching for a stylist I could trust and a stylist who knows what they are doing and I found Curtis! Awesome salon. Glad I found a home for my hair needs. Call him ahead of time because he is booked a month ahead. Great man

How lucky the Hair District is to have added Christina Selmer to their staff! She is now at there Burnsville location. I have been going to Christina for my hair care needs for 12 years. I was lucky enough to get an appt with her at that time when my regular hair dresser was not available. I never went back. She listens to me and gives me exactly what I want. She not only does great hair cuts, but gives you amazing color and styles. I sometimes bring in photos of styles to copy. She is able to copy them exactly. I always leave feeling like a rock star! Ive gone to Uptown Hair Districts Karen G. and Niki H. at several locations for over 20 years--long before they came to Uptown Hair District. Both are fantastic people, total professionals and great at what they do. The salon has a positive urban vibe and a pleasant atmosphere. While I cant attest to the caliber of the work of the other professionals on site, I have noted that many of the staff have remained intact through the months and years. I recommend Karen and Niki, and encourage you to check out the place for yourself.

Men if you are looking for a great hairstyle you need to make an appointment with Angela K at the Uptown Hair District. She has always done a phenomenal job on my hair and even cleans up my brows too. If its an esthetician you are looking for, ask for Michelle she does a great job, almost painless :) and is such a sweetheart. Her prices are some of the best anywhere! Wonderful service all around at the District!

This review is so long overdue as not a day goes by that Im in front of the mirror recalling how ga ga ga gorgeous Natalia fixed and created my hair!!! Spontaneously walked in for a haircut and I am so glad that I did. The front desk staff was extremely helpful setting me up with a great stylist and were patient with my lack of hair product knowledge. The manager went above and beyond my expectations. Highly reccommend this place.

I dont see ANYONE for my brows but Jessie May. She is a wonderful artist and really creates the best frame for each face. Nancy is an amazing manicurist - its an absolute EXPERIENCE at Uptown...Michelle for a facial, Nancy for mani-pedi, JessI for brows and you are a new woman.

Amir is AMAZING. Hes done color corrections on me twice (I know, youd think I wouldve learned the first time) with incredible results. I cant recommend him enough, both for color and cut. This guy is gifted.
