Spilled root beer on a wool blanket. Brought it in the next day, showed them the various spots, told them it was root beer. They said "give us a week", which seemed a bit long but oh well. Next week I come by and pick it up. Look it over in their shop, still has several spots. Gentleman behind the counter "Yeah, those wouldnt come out." This guy just "knows" my item off the top of his head, like he slaved on it for hours to no avail (or he just says that every time a customer asks about poor service, you decide). Cost: $6.95 (no credit cards, cash or check only, fairly inconvenient). I then brought it a few days later to Clover Cleaners in Bloomington (near a client). Told them the story, they said "Huh, thats weird, root beer should come right out." My thoughts exactly. And guess what: it does when you go to the right cleaners. No spots, blanket looks great, and it cost me $5.36 (on the card). Love supporting the neighborhood business when they are competent. Osman wasnt when I tried them.

I needed a suit and shirts pressed for an interview the next day. I called first and they said to bring them in that night. The proprietor was affable accommodating and had everything ready the next morning for me. Everything looked great.
