I have rented with public storage for a long time. I have never had such horrible customer service like I have had in the last month. But lets talk about my latest horrible service with Donna. When I went in to pay my bill last week...very rudely she asked me to wait while she counted the days money with another employee in front of me. When Donna was finally ready to take my rent she gave me a number which was higher than I expected. When I questioned her on the amount, she was very degrading and told me to count the amount....like I dont know how to count.....as this went on for a couple of minutes I went to give her my money to which she looked at me and said oh no....I dont have any change as I gave it to the other worker to deposit. I asked her if she could grab her to give me change and she said no, it will ruin her count and have to redo it and she will NOT do that. She told me that I have to leave and come back with change. I told her that I would have to come back the following day and she said yes. As I left, I turned back to look at her as I thought she said something, and she looked at me and told me to go. I cannot believe that she feels the right to talk to people like she is better than them. She was rude and so disrespectful. The thing is that we went back today to put stuff into our storage unit and my husband dealt with her...as he returned the cart, Donna asked my husband if he could write her a positive review on public storage....she asked him to write, Donna is the bomb. My husband was laughing inside as he knew how horrible she treated me the other day. Learn to respect others and have a better customer approach. You will not get a review that says Donna is the bomb.. Sorry. If I could I would give Donna a 0 out of 5 stars. Donna, please stop asking customers to give you a positive review with "Donna is the bomb".

I would never return to this location. First off Donna is the worst person to EVER deal with from move in day to move out date. While moving in at exactly 5 oclock i had 2 boxes to bring up and i was done she stormed out snatched my buggie n told me it was 5 they are closing and i couldnt bring them up she had other things to do. She then proceeded to hollar at the older gentleman that was working with her for not taking my buggie n even allowing me to return to my unit. I ended up Takn my 2 boxes home with me. I returned the next am to finish several more loads to be told the lady the night before never left the keys for the buggies so we did everything by hand, thanks donna!!! I had several interactions with this rude lady the Month i used storage. I also went to ask about my check out date she said i had to get my phone. She instructed me to the comment page and told me to give her a review saying donna has great customer service. I did to avoid any confrontation...but have been waiting to get out of here she is unbearable. After reviewing her she told me i was a day late and made me pay 100 bucks for one morning b4 my stuff was out. She said i should had came n talked to her the day before i wouldnt have had to pay it, lone Behold i tried calling and she told me she was busy with other people try back another time... Shes a peach###

I have a storage unit at this place, on 18th July 2016 I received email stating that my storage wasnt properly locked and they temporary put another lock, when I checked with Darlene a temporary manager? the unit was properly locked, and somebody stole my computers, a desktop, 3 used laptops and a digital Canon camera, uuh, Im not getting any help or info from the managers, when i call them and leave messages, no responds whatsoever coz they see my number on caller ID, Ive to drive every day to the office just get poor answers and disrespectful responds , Gary former manager is no longer there and they keep changing employees in a short time for the last 6 months, am willing to pay a reward just to get back my old family photos and wedding videos, theyve cameras near the elevator only, and not the Isle units , so any one can break your unit or unlock it, so stay away from this place at the moment, very poor management, they let every one in even non tenants alcoholics. its 6:11pm Thursday July 28th, 2016 still no one is calling me back after I left several messages please, I need my computers back. break in my storage, manager lied to me, i need my property will pay you.

6 Reasons to go somewhere else! 1.) The office staff here takes longer than posted breaks (very bad for new clients and existing clients that generally pay with cash). 2.) Anitra was very disrespectful to my father (she has known both of us for years now). 3.) The loading dock and facility has been filthy every time Ive been there. 4.) A district manager breached security by giving me personal information over the phone. Thankfully she was stopped by somebody in the office and it was my own account information (district managers making rookie mistakes says a lot about the higher-ups in the company). 5.) The odd happenings and customers at this location (Park and watch what comes and goes for 5 minutes). 6.) And don’t forget the fees to pay over the phone. (What the heck! A good customer can’t just pay on their account over the phone anymore without mega corporations having to asking for your damn pinky finger! #ArbitraryExtras

Gary was awesome. He is really thorough and very helpful he made sure I got the unitthat best for my needs. He really went out his way he stayed late to make sure I got everything put away. On a different note I received a voicemail from Dee and all it said was"please call public storage it is An urgent matter regarding your unit." I went into panic mode thinking the worst. I rushed down hoping someone was still there because I dint get the message until 5:575pm. My anxiety was through the roof. When I arrived thankfully Gary was still there and all it was is that I neededto sign something. My advice to Dee is when leaving messages keep I mind that ppl store very important things there and be mindful of the type of message you leave.

I met with Darlene to set up my storage space. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. The paperwork process went smoothly and quickly. She took the time to show me my unit , which was clean and perfect for my needs. Also I have a special circumstance with my items being brought in from California and she is working with me to have the movers come directly to the unit and unload. I live in Duluth so it would have been a drive to be there when the items are delivered. Darlene is a true professional and is very friendly. I will highly recommend the company to my family and friends.

This place is horrid. I triple checked on move in day to make sure there would be no hidden charges, she said that as long as I vacate by the end of the month there wouldnt be, apparently the end of the month means the 29th so I got charged a late fee on top of the hidden charge that I was told wouldnt be there. They were also just generally slow and they acted like I was bothering them by asking for services. Never again will I use this location.
