I brought my VW to have the a/c fixed. Supposedly they fixed it. I paid, picked it up, drove off, only to find the a/c not working and a number of lights were flashing. I left the car for a week only to be told they couldnt fix it. I ended up taking the car to the VW dealership which fixed the a/c and told me that someone had hacked their way through and a few other parts were at a chance of failing in the future as a result. In the end, the repair was simple. Two weeks later, shame on me, I took my second car for a repair to this shop because it was a good value (for an anti-freeze leak). Supposedly they fixed it. I ended up bringing the car back twice only to find out that they fixed the wrong parts, costing me $600. I confronted them and was returned only $200 and the car was still not fixed. Every time I picked the car they were late releasing it, costing me wasted hours. Bottom line, save your money and go elsewhere

These guys are knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to educate their customers. Kenny has always gone the extra mile to save me money where it would not compromise the safety of my car. They are great at estimating the amount of time necessary for the repair, and Ive never had any sort of "surprise" as far as the bill. They fix it right the first time. Ive never had anything else go wrong after having come to them, as Ive had at other mechanics who are looking for business. I have been going to these guys for several years now, and I trust them. Ive been very impressed, and I look forward to a long-lasting relationship thats mutually beneficial!

Kenny and his thugs! Thats what I call them. My Dad has expensive work done on his truck on June 19th. The boys at the shop "forgot" connect a part. My Dad called the next morning and the boy who answered blamed my Dad for the problem. Kenny, if you read this knock off the condescending talk to your costumers. You and your boys owe my dad an apology and you have our number. I dont like it and I know others dont ether. I would NEVER trust Kenny and his thugs with my car. That is unless I want damage!

A friend recommended this shop many years ago (before the name change even) and I havent been to another shop since. The knowledge and friendliness of the staff is excellent. They always explain what they need to do and why (and arent afraid to bring you into the shop to show you exactly what is the issue). Kenny and his staff treat you like a friend. I always feel I am given a fair price for honest work. I cant recommend Excel SLP highly enough.

Ive been going here for years and would definitely recommend them. They are fair and honest and friendly and knowledgeable. A few years ago, they put an alternator in my car that turned out to be faulty. They quickly got my car in to replace it (at no extra charge, of course) with another alternator... which also turned out to be faulty! I cant be mad; stuff happens and I was happy with how hard they worked to get it resolved quickly.

An excellent place to take your vehicle for repair. Great customer service, always provide a thorough explanation of what is wrong and what needs to be repaired, competitive pricing, and so much more. Ken (Manager) is very efficient and does an outstanding job keeping customers satisfied. Forget reading a magazine while waiting for your vehicle to be repaired, watch this guy work, its incredible. Well be back!

I have been to Excel on numerous occasions for many different things, and kenny and his crew in spring lake park are top notch. They take you behind the scenes and show you the problem so you can see it for yourself. Prices are more affordable then most places and the friendliest stands out. I take a 40min drive for even minor problems on my vehicle to come here. Great place great people and great service.

I had new tires and a watts linkage repaired on my PT Cruiser. Richard was professional and worked within my budget; I had to make sure I had enough money on hand to do the work. No hidden surprises. Plus the environment is friendly. I had a nice time waiting. Cant say that about many places. Ill definitely go back the next time I need automotive work thats beyond what I can handle myself.

A friend of mine told me I needed an alignment and tire rotation. Kenny asked why I thought I needed it and after I sputtered out some things my friend said he latched onto the key words "tire wear, thats what I was looking for." Obviously knowledgeable, and they seem honest and they are friendly. And really I was expecting to pay twice what I did. Im definitely going back here in the future.

Thanks for a job well done! We appreciated the friendly service and the knowledgeable staff. They were very thorough in fixing our car--battery and brakes! We appreciate that they kept in touch during the day to let us know what was going on before they did the work. I have been coming here as long as I can remember. My dad brings his cars here, I bring mine, and my girlfriend brings hers. Reasonably priced, and always lower whenever Ive shopped around. Always a quick turn around and I trust their judgment and work on repairs. Will continue to come here.

I had my 2003 Toyota Tundra alignment done about 3 or 4 years ago and its still drives true. Im very please with their alignment. I will definitely go back if I need anything else done.

Oil change - Meh! So-so. Quoted $24 over the phone for 7 quart oil change. With an appointment, out the door in 1 hr 2 minutes for $31.69. complimentary coffee was pretty bad.
