Hage-Kobany have helped me over the past 17 years with numerous jobs on 4 different vehicles. They have always given honest, accurate quotes, and done quality work. I bring my vehicle there for oil changes, upon which they inspect my vehicle, giving me a timeline of when I should have certain items replaced. There have been numerous times when Ive gon in, and they tell me to wait 1 more oil change before having the work completed, as it was not necassary at that time. That, to me, shows their honesty and character! I have referred Hage-Kobany to numberous friends, family, and co-workers, all of which have been more than satisified, and have gone back again! I even had them inspect my car the first day I bought it, finding 3 different items to be fixed, which I brought back to the dealer and made them repair for free before my warranty had expired. Its good to know I have a mechanic I can trust! I would reccomend them to anyone!

How they handled my car is disappointing. They didnt really fix the braking sound of my car. And recently, I spent nearly $700 on a repair and when they gave the car back to me, they told me that they had done a full inspection and EVERYTHING looked perfect. TWO WEEKS LATER, I took the car in for a due tire rotation, then they told me there were two other major issues that emerged and would cost me another $1000. How they had missed these two major issues two weeks earlier is beyond me. When I asked them to come up with a solution because of the negligence of duty on their part, they were not responsive at all. And they say their goal is to make their customers happy. Interesting! I would recommend Hage-Kobany Transmissions. And be careful next time when they tell you your car is in great condition.

Didnt have work done so cant rate their technical competency, but their staff seemed very trustworthy and helpful, and they charged almost nothing to take the time to look at my car and give me their impressions, and their prices and phone estimate seemed fair--they didnt beat arou d the bush! They saved me a lot of money and trouble over nothing this time, but i will definitely be returning there to have work done in the future! A fair mechanic is hard to find these days.

I recently had my 2008 Saturn Vue in for a transmission rebuild. Hage-Kobany was the only shop that pointed out GM was reimbursing for this type of work if the transmission had a wave plate issue, which my car did. I dealt with Jamison who was very honest and upfront with and came in under the the price quote I was given. I am very stratified with the services received and will gladly pass along what a great place this is to get your vehicle services.

I had a very difficult transmission problem and they provided an option the Inifinti dealer didnt and it saved me thousands of dollars. They are the kind of shop who will call and say it was something simple and then not try to up-sell you .... like some of the other places in Columbia Heights. They have always been fair and Ive never received the condescending attitude from anyone. Great mechanics!!
