I am a customer for Northtown Imports for the last 12 years. I went there on being highly recommended by my friend when I wanted to buy a used car. I drove the car brought through them without a problem for 3 years. Later I brought a van, and two more cars for my kids. My kids are driving them since 4 years without any major repairs. I also referred couple of my friends who came back and thanked me for introducing them to Northtown Imports. Muchtar, the owner is a great guy with a pleasant personality, always friendly, knowledgeable and provides excellent service. On couple of occasions I checked with other before going to Northtown Imports and got the job done at rock bottom prices. It always surprises me how they can manage to do that. The competition cannot even come close to either the service or prices they offer. They also sell cars next door which is managed by Fatima. Fatima is such a sweet person, it is always a pleasure to to business with her. I saw a couple of negative reviews and felt bad. I strongly beleive they are not based on facts. If you are looking for great service at reasonable price or want to buy a car, go to them and you will get hooked

I took my car to this place on four occassions. Two repairs of basic service (brake job) were satisfactory. When I had them fix my heat it took over a week and they replaced ALL the parts in the system ($1200+) tried to charge me $400 for diagnostics on top of the $600 in labor and then didnt even replace hoses into the clamps, left bolts missing and while driving down the interstate at the upholstery over the drivers side floor came off and wedged itself under the pedals... preventing me from putting pressure on the brakes. The general lack of attention to detail and disregard for quality service has solidified my motivation to let everyone know if you get your car repaired here you are throwing your money away. The quality of the cars in the lot Mucktar (the owner) runs are worse than the quality of their repairs.

Stay miles away from these jokers. I went in to get my car looked over as it was making some noise. They charged me $90 and gave me no documentation telling me what they did or what they found, despite me specifically asking for it. Went for a second opinion elsewhere and found I need a new alternator ($750 installed). I called Northtown back to demand a refund, and not only did they tell me they did everything they were supposed to, but they called me a liar about not receiving the documentation. The owner then hung up on me. Tell all your friends that this hack joint should get shut down.

I dont know what these people are talking about. My family and I always take our cars here because we know we arent going to have to pay for things the car doesnt need, we wont be over charged, and the work will get done right. I felt like I had to say something because those two reviews sound staged, almost like they are being made by a competing shop engaged in some shady competition. All I can say is check it out for yourself if you are having car issues. You wont be disappointed. Peace.

I have taken my 88 Nissan 300ZX in for repair several times over the past several years. I have ALWAYS been extremely happy with the quality of the service and the very reasonable price charged. They are very trustworthy and helpful. Last week I picked up my car and was told they searched until they found bushings to make the repair at a much lower cost to me than having to purchase and install a sub assembly that was more readily available

I really like this place! I brought my mini van in there last week and they had it fixed in no time. Very satisfied with the work and the price. They really helped me out when I needed it and only fixed what needed to be fixed not just things to make extra money. I would recommend this place to anyone that needs repairs.

Ive been referred to Northtown Imports for exhaust work by my regular mechanic and theyve been good to me. I went back when I needed more exhaust work and Muchtar was kind enough to lend me a loaner car when my ride never showed up. Ive been happy with their work and will go back.
