BEWARE!!! Unbelievable! They agreed to move my parents across the country and then Bill Powers from Berger called my mother one week before they were to start packing up the house and said there "might" be a problem with the dates but that it probably would not be an issue as these things usually get worked out but he wanted to give my mom "a heads up." He promised he would call by the next morning with an update. The next day comes and goes with NO WORD from Berger. My mom called the Berger offices multiple times, called the corporate Allied offices multiple times and e-mailed Bill Powers all to no avail. Absolutely NO ONE at any location would speak with her or give her any sort of answer. Fortunately, another (responsible) mover who had given my parents a quote called to verify that my parents had lined up a moving company. They ended up using this other company. Unfortunately, the other companys quote was higher but given that Berger left them high and dry, they had no choice but to pay the additional costs. Two days later, Bill Powers from Berger sends my mom an e-mail stating that Berger would not be able to do the move for them. THANKS FOR NOTHING BERGER!!!
