Fist of all I do believe they do good work, when you can get them to work on your car that is. I had my car there for 2 month and 8 days and less than 20 hours was put into my vehicle. Simple things like replace wiper blades, make extra keys, work on hood so that is shuts properly, fix headliner and put a quote together for window weather stripping were not done. I had actually made an appointment with them to service my car 6 months in advance so that they could have the time to work on it. My car is fairly rare so I do understand that it takes time to find parts and have them shipped, but Dynotech seemed to put my car on the back burner and forget about it until I called up and asked. I was told that it would be 6 to 8 week for my car to be done, but it is not even close to being done. The brakes were not addressed, the steering was not addressed, the broken seat was not fixed, and other issues I had told them about when I dropped it off. If you have months and months and months to wait for your car to have the simplest of repairs done then Dynotech is a great place for you. Like I said before, they do good work, when you can actually have them focus on your car. They seem to jump from project to project and leave you to contact them on the status of your vehicle.

This place is amazing. Last year I found it on google and brought my ten-year-old car in for a check up before I went on a road trip. He was great. He told me the few little things that were wrong with it. There was a serpentine belt to replace, muffler strap, etc. I was in college, so I asked if I could do any of it myself to save money. He asked how much experience I had working on cars, and when I said I had some, he said I could do all of it. Then he took the time to explain how to change the belt. He did so much for a such a reasonable price that a couple of days ago when my check engine light came on, my heart sank, but I felt a little bit excited that Id be able to give him some more business. I called him to see when I could come in, and when I told him what was wrong, he told me that it was just the heat, explained what was happening, and said not to worry about it. The next day the light turned off. In a world of people trying to make money any way they can, Dynotech stands out.

Just a great, thorough mechanic who is honest and fair-priced. I discovered Dynotech Auto after reading the reviews here, and I can say from my own experience that they are dead on -- Ive had nothing but a positive experience. Tim has solved a couple problems with my car now, including an issue with the intake manifold and a persisting electrical issue that no one else could seem to solve (or would have charged me an arm and a leg to even look at). He took care of both issues for me quickly, and at relatively low cost compared to any other mechanic in the area. I think its also worth stating that he and his business are polite and customer oriented. He has always called me before hes started any work or before hes starting charged me for anything. He is the only mechanic I call when something comes up with my car.

Ive been taking my cars to Dynotech for almost 10 years now. I used to cross check everything with my father and other mechanically inclined friends, but I stopped because they always said Tim and Josh know more about my cars issues and were giving me a better deal than anywhere they could send me. In fact, if Dynotech knows of a cheaper place, they send me there. All of the people Ive referred have been so impressed theyve referred other people. Good, hard working and HONEST mechanics here! Im glad they love doing this stuff as much as they do. I wouldnt suggest anywhere else to go (Unless they do). :)

I found them on Google actually, was looking for a reliable mechanic who wasnt affiliated with some big corporation. What luck I found them! All the reviews below are true. They are so reliable, incredibly friendly, courteous, punctual, respectful, affordable, and honest. Tim always gives alternatives to expensive repairs and will even direct you somewhere else for parts if it will save you money. He certainly knows his stuff. I cant even express how happy I am to have found them. Next time you need anything done with your car, take it to Dynotech, you wont be disappointed. -Sadie Norlin

I just had my first of what I am sure will be many experiences with Dynotech. As other reviewers have mentioned, these guys are very honest, helpful, and nice. All I needed today was a headlight bulb replaced. They were ready for me when I got there, Josh showed me how to do it so I can do it myself in the future, and they didnt even charge me for labor. The service was just top notch and I had a really good feeling about the place -- its clear that what they really care about is helping their customers and not making a quick buck.

Im so glad I found Dynotech. Tim and Josh are awesome! They are friendly, knowledgeable, thorough, and honest. The other day Josh spent 20 minutes explaining to me whats wrong with my car and why (I have a very old car in bad shape, so the list was long). Knowing I just wanted to keep it running for a while longer, he helped me prioritize the issues from safety concern on down to minor repair. They take an educational approach to working with their customers, which I really appreciate. I wouldnt take my car anywhere else!

By far the best auto shop Ive ever found. Tim will go out of his way to save you money. I started going to him in college when I was strapped for cash, and he kept my car running an extra 2 years at no profit to himself -- after everyone else said the car was unrepairable. His expertise on Honda vehicles is astounding, as is his honesty and quality of workmanship. Of any person or business Ive ever dealt with, Dynotech is the best, by leaps and bounds.
