My 2004 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon recently overheated. In searching for a nearby automotive repair shop I came across Christian Brothers Automotive online. The reviews were great, so I decided to give them a try. I was greeted by a very polite young man, who assisted me and quickly gathered as much information as he could about my vehicle, and the vehicles problems. He then gave me a summary of what could possibly be wrong, and that they would run a cooling system performance test to identify the point of failure and report back to me with their findings, as well as a plan on what to replace. Within an hour I got notice that I needed to replace the heater hoses, as well as a few other things that were found while doing a FREE Courtesy Inspection (which was thorough, and Im very thankful for). They went over every detail of their findings, and even helped me to prioritize what service I should do first, and what I can postpone until a later date. They also sent me an e-mail after our conversation which listed the maintenance description as well as the price for both parts, and labor for each individual task. The pricing for the listed services was fair, and the shop is absolutely spotless, which reflects that these people take pride in their work. I appreciate Christian Brothers Automotives quick service, great employee attitude, and clean atmosphere. I will continue to use them, and I will refer anyone who is looking for an automotive repair shop.

I have used Christian Brothers a few times over the last year. My experience has always been great! First off someone always answers the phone! Secondly I feel as if the mechanic that I work with, Mark, is always looking out for my best interest. He will tell me EVERYTHING that is going on with my car and then allows me to make the best choice for me. I never feel like he is trying to SELL me anything. My most recent experience included a conversation like this, "Amy this car isnt safe to drive so at the least I am going to need to do this." Ethan called me with an estimate and we proceeded with the repair. They worked late getting my car finished knowing that I needed it to get kids here and there and when I picked it up the final bill was LESS than the estimate. Ethan said, "It didnt take quite as long as we thought to get that finished." That is honesty people and that is something very hard to come by these days.

I had a great experience with Christian Brothers. I bought an 09 challenger out of state because i really REALLY wanted a manual. It turned out to be a less then stellar maintained car and the dealer that i bought it from did the absolute minimal needed to get it back out the door. I wanted Lee and the guys to go through the car top to bottom and that is what they did. They let me know what was wrong, needed to be fixed, and what could wait. Let me say that you get what you pay for in maintenance and repair work. The work that i opted to do was done in a timely manor and i was informed of the progress as it was done. I am now much more confident in driving the car and the condition. Trust is a big deal when you are driving these things at highway speeds.....and maybe a little above if no one is looking. Thanks again for the help guys and i will be seeing you again for regular service.

Had a service engine soon light, took my car in at 7:30.....called back at 11:30 I was told my car was just now getting checked. Got a callback 25 minutes later stating my wheel bearing was bad (which it is) and that it would cost me $300 to fix. I was also told my transmission needed to be replaced because the gear shifted hard. I just had a technician with 40+ years of automotive experience look at my transmission today, and come to find out its in pristine condition and I only have an oxygen sensor that can be cleaned and doesnt have to be replaced (which I was told from Christian Brothers that a transmission, oxygen sensor, and wheel bearing replacement would cost 4,000.00 to get fixed). Thoroughly dissatisfied with the service ( really lack of service provided). I paid 89.00 for twenty five minutes of them driving the car in town, no work was done on my 2004 Pontiac Aztek.

After taking my car and truck for repairs over the past few months I began getting the feeling that everything they looked at ended up being a major repair and a major expense. I began feeling like I was going to one of those shops that just wanted to rack up the bill. The trust I originally felt quickly disappeared as that trust was being used to overcharge me an exorbitant amount for repairs now. It may be worth the trouble to trust less and get other estimates. You may also find it most beneficial to pay retail for parts at the local auto parts store over paying the extreme mark up prices you will find at this auto repair shop and many others. If given the option here I would have gone to OReillys and paid their retail price and delivered the parts myself. It would have saved me HUNDREDS of dollars over the last 3 repairs.

I have an Infiniti QX4 that I have had other mechanics (including the local dealership), look and few even started my car, and few speculated that the whining noise was a pulley bearing. For a year the noise would happen when we started the car; I decided to look on-line and researched. I decided to call Christian Brothers and Ethan was very informative and articulate, he made it easy to help ease my concerns. Needless to say I had to drop off my QX4 and soon after I received a call and The technician, Mark, had started the car and knew right away the belts were loose. I am very impressed with the service I received and knowledge of all involved. Major kudos and they shall be doing future work on my vehicle. Thank you very much, Christian Brothers Automotive of Springfield.

The tall guy Lee is just a real Jolly Person and always makes you feel welcome. Especially with the Staff he has on hand. That Ethan guy is pretty sharp and knowledgeable. The tire guy Kris really surprised me. I never expected a valve stem to ever dry rot. Could have been real expensive with the Tire Pressure Monitors that are in my tires. Kris was able to replace the valve stem with out me having to replace the tire monitor. Saved me $120 bucks or so. Real honest crew when it comes to working on your car. If you get a chance to meet Annie, she is probably the most intelligent woman you would ever meet in the Auto Industry. Very Impressive Group.......................... 1st Class. Think Christian Brothers when You Think Auto Repair.

Lee, Ethan, and everyone else here have always been courteous, knowledgeable, and very professional, leaving me feeling very confidant that my vehicle was in good hands. I had been a customer of another chain of auto shops but had grown dissatisfied with their service. I tried Christian Brothers on a recommendation and couldnt be happier. They tell you in detail what exactly it is that they will be doing to service your car, which hasnt always been my experience with other shops, and I very much appreciate that they kept me in the loop with what was happening and that they took the time to explain to me what they were doing and why. I wouldnt take my vehicle anywhere else.
