This review should be read till the end. Started with wanting my car rebuild on my 78 cougar. Told John that car was not starting after I drive but let it sit & eventually starts. Get carb work done & John calls & recommends tune up. That made sense to me cuz plugs were probably full of gas again. John says it will help car run better & im thinking whatever you think John I just want car to quit leaving me stranded. Work done & I get car, John tells me to run old gas out. I drive 30 miles & come to light, car dies. Called John & they were sending a tow out to me. Well after sitting awhile car starts, I get it back to Roseville & while John was going to get tool I noticed car running too hot. John looks at that & my radiator shot, have to leave car again & they gave me a ride home. John gets radiator fixed & takes my car for drive. Car stalls on John, they now experience what I have been. Coil & ignition switch replaced because John sees that is causing it to die. I get car a second time & get home, I live 18 miles away, car dies when I restart & put in gear. I took a chance & car got me to Dr. Sun. morning I leave church parking lot & car dies on street. Im trying to keep my cool cuz its Sun. My church friends look under hood & see gas is not getting thru, its not going to start well bring you home. I get home call Roseville leave a message, go back to church to leave key in office for tow truck car starts. Get it home, 4 miles away, & car dies on street. Tues. morning a tow got it back to Roseville. This time John replaced distributor after they got the car to die. Even though John didnt catch all the problems the first time or two, this is the end result. Roseville paid tow, they took complete responsibility for not catching all the issues that caused it to die. Roseville covered the cost on the new part that was part of the issue. My experience with other shops tells me that at the least they would of charged me for the new part. This was a major headache & inconvience to me but Roseville took responsability for this too. Are there any other shops out there who would of stepped up? If so where are they? There hourly rate is the same as any other shop, its very obvious they work on keeping their reputation & keeping the customer happy & not seeing ca ching. And guys the office lady is a doll but BE advised shes married.

Roseville Auto and Marine, specifically John, did an amazing job with my 1969 Pontiac LeMans! After 4 years of sitting in my garage with carburetor issues and stale gas, John was able to bring it back to life and its now running better than ever before! He diagnosed the issues, gave me an estimate and kept me in the loop through the whole process. Once he really dug into the car, he realized it needed a few more items and made sure to call and ask if it was okay to proceed and adjusted the estimate for me as well. Again, great communication. John really knows what hes doing and seemed to treat my car as he would his own. Beyond the major issues the car was in for, he also took the time to make minor additions that really improve the quality and reliability of the vehicle. (replacing some sections of rubber fuel line with metal line, wiring, vacuum lines, etc) When my car was finished, it started and ran smoother than my modern daily driver, and its honestly in the best condition Ive ever seen it in. The Google reviews of this business are what brought me in so I wanted to share my own experience as well. On top of great service and what I found to be reasonable pricing for the work done, they also keep all the classic cars inside overnight, so you dont have to worry about weather.

I never go to a company website and leave a comment--but after the amazing service I received on my 1985 chevy blazer, I am now a dedicated customer. This company is family owned and operated and it shows in the quality and care they provide. John (one of the employees) gave a thorough explaination as to every deficiency on my vehicle prior to fixing anything--and then was EXCEPTIONAL. He is amazing at what he does and takes time to explain. They follwed though with everything they said and made sure that I was happy with the end results. Ive gone all over the Twin Cities (I live in Prior Lake) to find a reliable mechanic and I will now be driving up to Roseville anytime I have a problem with either of my vehicles. Great service--and had I found them earlier I would have saved thousands of dollars (seriously). There are so many places out there that you can not trust; but I can asure you that this company is about getting great work done at an affordable price; I am so blessed to have found such great people.

Insanely over-priced!! My Blazer broke down just miles from this shop so I had it towed there because it was close. The next day, they diagnosed and gave me an estimate of $970 for a fuel pump/module/filter. Everyone I talked to said that it was a ridiculous price so I got three other estimates. They ranged from $500-$800, and the guy I talked to here couldnt believe that people could do it for so cheap. The estimate here was even higher than a GM dealership!! Even after paying to have my car towed over 20 miles to another shop, I still got the repairs done for $250 less than the estimate here, and that is with using GM parts. Do your research before using this place. They also pad their website and only copy the positive reviews over. Hopefully people come across these reviews first. Ill be making sure to spread my review on as many sites as possible.

I just picked up my boat and they took NO ownership in breaking two things while it was at the shop. Both were not issues that I took it in for. They broke the shift cable and charged me to replace it. I have never had a problem shifting into gear in the 3 years Ive had the boat. They must have overtightened it or connected it incorrectly when reassembling the repair work. Then as I am picking up my boat, I see that the winch strap is snapped. This strap was just over 1 year old. There were no signs of fraying or stress when I dropped it off. They would not give me credit back to cover the replacement cost. Overall a horrible experience. I will never go to them for service again!

I cant say enough nice things about this place. First I had to change my appointment three times because of work and the only response I got was "thats just fine, whats a better time for you?" Once I was there, the customer service was top-notch. They got my car in right on time and explained to me what they were doing every step of the way to make sure I was comfortable with the repairs. The repairs went quick, which was great, but they told me several times that if it was taking too long they would be happy to give me a ride to work. What a great family company! Im certainly happy I found them and will be coming back if I need future auto repairs.
